Charter is a good ISP on the east coast(don't know if they are anywhere else)
40 down 10 up and the highest ping i get is from frankfurt servers where i pull like 150(only xonotic/ut2k4 servers that i find with players)

Xonotic, much like warsow/ut2k4/ut3/red eclipse are all dead for the most part.
Occasionally you can find an active server, but at most given times in the day you wont find more than 3 servers with people on them, and itll probably be instagib or a duel server. The best way to play xonotic is to have a pug group or wait for a community event(unless you're dueling, in which case just get a friend.)

On top of those, ask around for any inhouse pug groups if you can find some around your skill level. There are tons of them, whether they are all active or not isn't to be decided, but being in a group doesn't hurt incase they put up an announcement.

I'm amazed by the quality of the setup of the TFTV stream, i haven't watched it since the Zowie Tournament and its amazing. All the people that contributed to the creation deserve a big pat on the back, it's impressive. Clean and functional and has a better overlay than most tournament streams on twitch.
