hookyMetalworks is on the maplist...
It's week 8 for a reason! If playtesting elsewhere results in it being a poor map, it can be switched up.

GeknaiirAny fix to remove that?
just remove the line
the hours that show up in your library / on your main profile page are the time you've had team fortress 2 open. the hours that show up when you go into your stats is the sum of the hours of playtime you have on each class. so when you reset that playtime count, your total stats hours gets reset as well
also, the playtime on each class can be inaccurate, because when i was at 499 hours for soldier, i went to pub to get 500 and ended up pubbing for 3 hours before it hit 500 on the stats screen (i.e. went up less than 30 minutes on maps with 30 minute time limits)

MR_SLINhow did gmang fix it? i'm getting that on my hud (broesel)
this post in the other thread explained it well:
Stochast1cDo you have a file called tf_english.txt in your resource folder? Whenever, new updates come out valve likes to change the names of weapons, so the old string that tf_english.txt was expecting for an item is now different and as a result the weapon doesn't get renamed. The fix is as simple to delete the tf_english file for the time being. The unequipping part I have no idea.
gmang fixed it by updating his tf_english.txt, so your options are
a) fix your tf_english.txt file yourself
b) wait for brosel to update his hud (does he? i dont know if thats an upkept hud)
c) remove your tf_english.txt file so the game uses the default one
if you choose c since it is an immediate solution, the problems you'd experience if any would be minor
kalhonixnyteit makes it so you can jump out of a crouch, and if you continue holding crouch you will crouch again after releasing your jump key.
That doesn't happen with your script.
it should, because that is what i've used for months
edit: oh, i read it and it's the script for ctapping with anti-stick, not jumping out of crouch. my bad
your script seems to be missing something. even though people have -fragged #2, he's right - you don't call the checkjump and checkcrouch aliases in that script. here is the one that i came up with if you want to modify yours or just use this one instead:
alias +ctap "alias duckon; alias duckoff; ctapon; +jump"
alias -ctap "alias duckon +duck; alias duckoff -duck; -jump; ctapoff"
alias +fduck "alias ctapon; alias ctapoff; duckon"
alias -fduck "alias ctapon +duck; alias ctapoff -duck; duckoff"
alias ctapon +duck
alias ctapoff -duck
alias duckon +duck
alias duckoff -duck
bind ALT +ctap
bind SHIFT +fduck
it makes it so you can jump out of a crouch, and if you continue holding crouch you will crouch again after releasing your jump key. the main point is that it just makes your keys feel more responsive like the null-movement cancelling script (which i like to use in combination with this one)
make sure to change the last two lines to your desired keys for jump and crouch
here is a video, everything listed in the OP held true for the testing
disengageaccording to anarchays second tutorial, you get negligible vertical height with ctaps. ctapping is all about horizontal distance
there are still some nice height gains such as from gray bridge on badlands over/on top of the ramparts on spire (is that what they're called?)
i played through veteran over the weekend as an engineer. i was using a build i came up with during the beta that guarantees you a 10k hp shield every 8 seconds so i never used potions in most boss fights. but it was slooow dps
now im trying hardcore elite as an outlander and i feel im going to get gimped by something really dumb (like those bear traps in act 1 took out half my hp). but so far so good and just beat grall
infinite-My only issues are with the 6v6 format itself and the rules + decisions made by the "elite" players over the years on weapon bans and items and the impact this has had on competitive TF2.
i wasnt going to get into this topic, but now you've said this. how can you be against the top players, who actively play the game which often times is for physical cash, being the ones who decide what should be allowed? they have the most developed and experienced understanding of it
