ClankMy current stopgap measure is to bind -attack to mouse4, and quickly hit that after shooting. It works but it's a bit of a pain. See below.

what about binding it to your movement / jump / crouch keys when you have rifle out?

you truly haven't mastered the death stare until you play with the holiday punch + huo long heater

punch them in the back, and while they're laughing, spin up and let the burn pulses kill them as you stare them down, perhaps shooting the nearest wall as they die to demonstrate the massive amount of multitasking a heavy player can utilize

it can indeed be flashed, though the duration penalty is trivial, if not absent

brownymasterCan probably use a script to cycle to only bullet/explosion (unless server is gay and bans wait).

most league servers will ban wait, but also it resets on spawn (bind inaccuracy)

brownymaster~6.67 seconds to charge a "vuber" (dunno, needs a name).

i've heard shield and bubble, e.g. "they're pushing with 3 bubbles charged"

quick tip: if you do not have a mouse3 or already have something bound to it, i personally found binding +attack3 on top of my slot 2 key to be very comfortable. what i mean is, for me, pressing E switches to the medigun if it's not out, but if it is, it instead changes the resistance type

just something to consider since i've heard some complaints about mouse3 tonight

i dont think you do the new medigun justice with that short of a description. but anyway, its super fun, promotes a lot of fast play, and has almost no downside to just randomly popping ubers when you have all 4. for example, if you (the medic) are hurt before a push, you can pop an explosive resist (can we call them B-resist, E-resist, and F-resist?) and have your target sit in spam to heal you up real quick

BoogalooMy first impressions as a demo of the Loose Cannon after using it for 15 minutes:

Rollers have -50% damage, so if you're going to spam grenades you're at a severe disadvantage from the stock GL. The Loose Cannon can't do directs at all, so that's out as well. The only real source of damage from this weapon is airburst, in which it has a similar function to airburst stickies, except you have a clip size of 4, a significantly reduced rate of fire, and you have to have perfect timing.
Unless I'm missing something, I see no reason to use this weapon.

you can do directs, which do 50 damage, and rollers do 40-45 damage. targets can be hit with both the direct AND the roller damage (since they don't blow up on impact automatically), so if you manage your fuse time you can hit for about normal damage, though it's really difficult / slow. the main selling point of this weapon is the knockback - it's like point blank FAN knockback no matter what range you land the direct/roller at

the new medigun has mini-ubers that you can hold up to 4 of

they last 2 seconds, so all combine last the length of a regular uber

but you can control the uber very precisely in 2 second increments

so you can use it right when you get to 1st charge (~5 sec per charge)

or wait til all 4 are charged and chain them for full length uber

also you cannot change resistance type during the charge

fostermilokritz/ubersaw/overdose/crossbow were the last good unlocksthree-rune blade

that's pretty much all of them though. the only other truly competitive-contributing unlocks we've had are original, gunboats, escape plan, and pain train. maybe even ambassador and cloak and dagger if we're willing to throw utilities into the mix
