#3 Interesting Streams in TF2 General Discussion

Most of the streams that have lots of viewers have either been around for a while or are of someone really well known (like an invite player for example).

You aren't going to get 100+ viewers overnight by doing certain things, but I'm sure you already knew that. The best thing you can do is to develop a viewer base by consistently streaming and consistently entertaining. Simply, the more you stream and the better you stream, the more followers (like actual people who watch your stream not just the follower count) will be devoted to watching your stream every time you hit "start streaming."

Interact with your chat, entertain people by doing stupid stuff, DON'T just sit in mumble and talk to your buddies. Talk to the chat. They're your new buddies.

#2 medic LFT in TF2 General Discussion

Waef is incredibly dedicated and smart. He's willing to listen and improve, and with these qualities waef is going to be a top medic in the near future. Seriously consider this guy.

(I assume you made this by clicking new under latest threads).

#2 Looking to upgrade computer in Hardware

I have that motherboard. Basically onboard means that you can plug stuff directly into the motherboard usually in an opening on the back of the case. The case probably has 2.0 in the front ports where most USBs are plugged into and 3.0s in the back if you want to plug them in there.

If you're asking if there's any incompatibility between the two, I don't see any in the USB problem.

Posting here make sure that enigma sees it and saves the rest of us from seeing it in the latest threads section. If you don't think that enigma will get to your request fast enough, find him on irc.

#2 Will a Mouse Make Me Good in Hardware

Honestly, no. If you like the feel of your current mouse in your hand and your mouse feet aren't destroyed, then getting a new mouse shouldn't be top on your list. Gaming mice may have better sensors, but I only bought one because of how it fits my hand much nicer than a cheap microsoft one. They usually have better mouse feet too.

A mousepad might help though; you'd be surprised.

Also please think about getting a wired mouse.

#10 Best med in open. in Off Topic
dope-wolf hey nja do you actually think you are better than power mangoes? hahahaah!!! please say u are better than mangos in an actual post.. I dare you.. you wont do it.. i know one scout in open who would actually demolish you and your IM.. his name is Mumbo. get the fuck out IM pussy u don't belong there. plus frag my nigs on ndusts team.

I'm not normally one to reply to hate, mostly because I know that it doesn't help my case at all. Mumbo and I are great friends and we are in no way against each other. I watch indust we trust and their matches because they're a solid team and I could actually learn a thing or two from Mumbo and Bill. I think you're making enemies where you needn't.

Also, was your name Wake n' Bake in our match last season?

I love ndust, but I'm not sure he'd want to be proclaimed as better than anyone else/embarrassed.

#3 Performance Issues in Hardware

When you think TF2 fps, think CPU. It's so intensive on CPU. With that said I do not think you should be getting that low of frames. Is TF2 on your SSD or your HDD?

This may not be your problem, but this exact thing happened to me when I was in dx8. It's been fixed ever since I switched to dx9.

#10 is this 120hz monitor any good? please help. in Hardware
kuzanjaI'm using this monitor right now. It's picture perfect, and I'm not sure why it gets all the hate and/or the 12-13 ms accusations. Are there any sources behind these? I'd recommend it as a first time 120 Hz user. If that holds any worth.

I guess what I'm trying to say is:

The Samsung feels extremely responsive, only those who are die hard CRT Anti-Vsync users will take issue with the Samsung's delay.
