I use arrow keys instead of WASD, left-ctrl to jump, numpad_ins (0) to crouch, and mousewheel to change weapons. I don't use a jump crouch script so I have to hit both of those at once, which I've gotten used to while strafing.
Thanks a lot! Been looking for a way to do this for a while.
I have this problem with liking bulky crosshairs on my scout but a dot on my sniper. Is it at all possible to change my HUD crosshair somehow in the class cfgs. I know that the cfgs don't control the HUD, but is it possible to somehow play around with cl_hud_minmode to get two different crosshairs? If anyone is confused please tell me, and thank you for taking the time to help.
Great guy to have on your team. Pick him up.
It looks like from your options that you have fullscreen on, but just make sure that when you get into your game that it is, in fact, full screen. That usually saves me many frames.
GO GO POWER RANGERSSSSS.

I'm very strange in the way I do my rollout.cfg >.<.
rays All you should have to do is import the crosshair section if your hudlayout.res, and the font associated with it in ClientScheme.res. They should look something similar to what JOE posted. What crosshair do you use? I plan on adding in Fog's hud crosshairs, as well as a few others sometime in the near future.

I also play in 16:10, but I only think that matters for the scoreboard which is a minor problem. Thanks for the help, rays.
Expertly crafted. I think I'll be using this HUD now. I just wish I knew how to import crosshairs across HUDs :\. If anyone knows how I might go about doing this, please let me know.
hookyDoes anyone know where I can try a 120Hz monitor? I don't want to spend $500 for one and have my eyes not notice any difference between 60 and 120 Hz.
Can anyone answer this? I've been stuck with a 60 Hz for a while and I'm looking to upgrade of others' opinions, but I'm not sure if it's the right move if the difference is barely noticeable.
oh my goodness a New England LAN.... New Hampshire might not be too far away for once ;-;
