His hook doesn't auto aim though. It's hitscan (or so I hear, although Seagull claims it isn't) and pubs are 2 0 T I C K so that's how you get hooked around corners and shit.

It really should operate like a projectile though. If that were the case though I think Roadhog's bread and butter would be too difficult to consistently pull off so increasing the returns while increasing the skill needed for said returns would make sense. Just a slightly longer range, or maybe a bit more damage on hook.

there are plenty of reasons to dislike this game and none of them have to do team fortress 2.

yes it is a class based shooter. but nothing about this game outside of having classes and a payload game mode resembles tf2 whatsoever. also, most people don't think of tf2 as 6v6, that's just us. so 99% of people making the tf2 comparisons don't have this "6v6" thing in mind at all which makes their comparisons even more nonsensical.

you're literally all saying the game is a watered down tf2 or a casualized tf2 as if blizzard wanted to make another tf2. they didn't. there's a three part series about the making of this game and they allude to tf2, like, once. they wanted to make a team centric fast paced shooter with a unique twist to it and that's what they did.

it's pretty bad dude. it's a clusterfuck aesthetically, is optimized like dogshit, has way too many weapons and dumb shit to keep track of, and a lot of the default maps are just bad.

it's hard to think about what it's like to be brand new to tf2 in its current state because you probably started playing when it wasn't inflated with trash and ran like garbage so that's the "default tf2 experience" you have in your head. but it's objectively a terrible first impression. just try to imagine being a player for the first time and dying to a level 3 sentry and seeing the engie behind it, then you respawn and die to another guy playing engie but this time he has a robot fist and his sentry is tiny wait is this the same class what is going the fuck on? why did it have a red barrier and kill me from across the map?

i have a lot of friends who have somehow dodged playing tf2 all these years and that's what their first impressions are like. just lots of confusion and low framerates. there's too much shit in this game right now and it's super unpolished.

I'm pretty sure robots will only say anything if you say something, so if you just wait like 10 seconds and they don't say anything it's probably a robot. Most impostors try to open the conversation so you know it's an impostor. I've only ever missed one first guess because of one dude who also seems to have noticed this trend.

They should probably make the robots speak before being spoken to.

like most political correctness buzzwords, the phrase "cultural appropriation" has been overused, molested, and utterly lost in translation. it's no longer is used in reference to people who steal another culture's values or music or whatever solely for personal gain, with no respect or interest in the culture itself (see: blackface). that shit's not cool. but there's nothing wrong with people who are genuinely interested in another culture and want to integrate parts of it into their life (see: '50s and '60s rock and roll acts full of white guys who really liked blues music), and some kids get salty over that and they're usually white college kids with no job or hobbies to busy themselves with.
