manaI would definitely add on TLR Rocket Shooting v3 to that list.
I can also recommend messing around with "net_fakelag" (EDIT: net, not cl, thanks MrYoke!) to simulate different pings (I think it's 2 * the ping you want on the scoreboard).
Another thing you can do offline is rollout or jump practice. Run a server with a map, and have various cheat-enabled commands used (I don't do this too much but I know there's hurtme -9999 which gives you 9999 health, impulse 101 gives you ammo, mp_roundrestart?? My point is there are a lot of ways to make this work).
On top of that, you can do demo reviews. I don't have the time to give you a bunch of links (especially when I don't know what class you are) but previous Invite players have of course put up their demos (I know Plat and Seagull did for last LAN), and scattered among the TFTV forums are seasonal STVs of both the regular season and LAN. It's worth doing those every so often just to see different styles, maybe where mistakes are made or where plays are done. It's worth finding (especially POVs) to understand how other roles play.
thank you for the suggestions. I forgot about demos and i'll definitely put some time into that.
I have to wait like half an hour to buffer a 5 minute video on like 480p so idk man it's hardly even worth it at that point
So my mom recently cut our internet to save like $100 over two months while we use this shitty internet from our neighbor. (don't ask)
I can't play mge, scrim, pug, etc. because all i do is get 1000 ping spikes and ggly internet and then dc.
Basically i just need like a couple good maps to use in an empty server to keep the rust off while i wait 2 months or so for better than shit internet. I already know about tr_newbots and walkway and rocketshooting (i think thats what its called)
Anyone have any other good training maps that i can dl? Thanks
Ggglygysticky spawns to improve reaction time and reflexes, as well as hiding / survival ability.
idk if it was you but someone was camping spawns in dm with sticky traps and it really pissed me off
tranchemusicThe reason you can't rent game servers by the hour is that it would cost like 1 cent and there's literally zero profit for the providers, no motivation at all for them to do it.
I mean, it's not like 15$ a month is exactly cripplingly expensive in the first place.
Yes I did read the OP, a game server is not the same thing you are talking about. I'd be shocked if you get reasonable performance out of what you are doing.
IF the reason was that they would make little profit (implying they can provide servers for the hour) people would rent them every scrim or match so they wouldn't make 0 profit they would make the same profit with more resource management.
I'd say don't look at it as "why should i live" rather "why shouldn't i live?" i think there are many potential pros that you aren't seeing and you should think about more than what lies in front of you. It may be hard and obviously i have no idea what its like but it's really sad to see you struggle with the thought of suicide :(
i liked aporia but i haven't seen him play after i49
FUCK no matter when i last ate whenever i look at this thread i get so hungryyyyy mmmmmm general tso's chicken..
dashnersushi.
I have a place near Toronto that's fairly cheap for a premium sushi place ($60/person) and I try to go there once every three months. Sushi from an exceptional chef is probably the best cuisine experience I've ever had.
Bluefin tuna belly from the last time I was at Sushi Zen in Toronto:

2fancy4me it looks like a red slab of raw meat i don't get why sushi/sashimi is so expensive
i read on my ec2 evo package when i used it that it is supposed to withstand some absurd amount of clicks so it might be the way you handle it. is it the white or black version if it's the white then that gross dead skin shit might get caught under the buttons
i once had a dream that my AP computer science teacher was in the halls of my school and i was skip jumping/pogoing through and she was like "stop rocket jumping in the halls ____" and i was liek u gotta catch me first!! then i synced rockets and shit it was fun
i have short hair and i've had the same g400 for over a year
