This update fixes a shit ton of stuff that I was quite lazy with in the past. With this update, the HUD looks a little better than it used too. Lemme know of any bugs and I'll sort them as soon as I can.
AleXGetawhaleThat definitely seems like a HUD issue. Have you tried removing it temporarily? That worked! Thanks!villainHere is the fix if your hud is outdated for turning in contracts.Added that and it didnt help the bug, had to remove it temporarily and turn in the contracts , it did help with the trade up thing so ty for that :D
http://huds.tf/forum/showthread.php?tid=84
I pushed a small update to noto to (hopefully) fix the contracts thing, but if you've sorted it by going back to the default hud, there's no need to worry.
EDIT don't worry I straight out lied and I didn't even get close to fixing it.
Glad to see you've updated this HUD flame, it's a beaut.
We're back. Sorry about that.
Me and tsc are working on not letting that happen again in the future. We'll keep you posted.
Okay maybe not they're doing more migration bullshit.
This better not break everything again.
Rofl what the fuck I definitely paid them the assholes. Give it an hour and it'll be back up
flameok one more,
advanced options , font color for the items and checkboxes?
I think it uses the tanlight/dark colors
flame, the gun mettle items revert the mouseover panels to use the LoadoutItemMouseOverBorder in clientscheme. If you've set your mouseover panels to have a custom border, remove that border and let the game use LoadoutItemMouseOverBorder by its own accord.
collycatJBIs the name and data fgcolor in the targetid defined somewhere else aswell? Changing it in targetid.res doesn't change anything, still looks like this:tanlight in clientscheme
I tried that and it didn't work for me.
I ended up duplicating the targetnamelabel by making a targetnamelabel2, then moving the original targetnamelabel out of sight with a ypos. That way, the targetid still stretches to the name of the target.
yttriumomniBananasaurusanyone know what hud they are using?
It's a redesigned yahud I was commissioned to do specifically for the event. It uses a paid font so it won't be available for public use.
Out of curiosity, was it based on takyahud, or yayahud? I know it's one of the two because I can see my edits in it.
takyahud
Future, I love your style man, but consider your typography a little better.
Just look at it for a moment. A lot of crucial information is squashed in the top left. A lot. And it's all fighting for space. Consider all that space at the bottom/bottom right. The prizes offered merge with the title and information like 16 teams and please donate aren't relative to each other (other than the event they're a part of, of course), so spread it out.
I know that cluttering is part of the style, I live in a city where the punk scene is still alive and very active. But I see posters similar to this all the time, and what I don't see from those posters is hard to obtain information.
You also need to understand the limitations of this style; you can't use this style of art in every kind of project, because sometimes it doesn't fit with what the project is trying to display.
I love the work. Just consider your space. I know that cluttering everything is the point but you can at least make the information stand out.
