Place your bets on how Sideshow is gonna fuck up at this LAN
KonceptQuestion: can a disabled sentry that has been hit by a cow mangler charge shot be teleported to an engineer's hand when he has the rescue ranger out?
Nope. Move the sentry before it gets hit.
saam
also worth mentioning that with rescue ranger unbanned it's actually better to have one soldier on cow mangler and one one stock if you wanna spam a gun down
Rescue ranger can't tank two soldiers spamming.
ScrewballOnd_kajathere are a million things that can happen in tf2 which makes it significantly harder to push last if your pocket is on cow manglerOur pocket ran it all season in top IM and the benefit of the pocket never having to go get ammo far outweighed the small chance that we might need him to spam a sentry.
How so? Not having to pick up ammo packs is just... comfortable (assuming your pocket has proper ammo management), it doesn't give you a significant advantage. However not being able to take down a sentry at a crucial moment is something that will make you lose last pushes. Which one is more likely to affect the outcome of the match?
ScrewballdamneasyPocket needs normal rockets to deal with sentryThat is what the demoman is for. If you are pushing last without momentum and no demo then what the fuck are you doing?
nice logic, but giving one scenario where the pocket doesn't need to spam down the sentry doesn't prove that the pocket never needs the rocket launcher to spam down the sentry

WafufeforSo this would be the first time an european team would play in a lan in NA?, really hyped! can't wait already :DNo, but it is the first good EU TF2 team to play in an NA LAN.
No, that's TEZC
NusemanOnd_kajahttp://logs.tf/526807#76561198010123351LMAO how did you manage this
do i win
edit: oh it just looks like its just a bug, smh kaja faking logs
Yeah for some reason I just instantly respawned whenever I died. So I just kept pressing the suicide bind every time I respawned.
FUN FACT: Contrary to popular belief, the name Se7en does not refer to the amount of players in the team. It actually refers to the age of one of their players, AMS.
Ombrackwtf its so expensive, when we go in LAN in France it costs us around 150 euros, maybe 200.
Going to frenchie LAN costs more than going to Insomnia for me :(
TobShpeeismeIt's not about losing as much as it is about learning (at least for me)georgebaii2) Lose a large majority of players because system isn't good and teams get rolled by experienced teams so they avoid the setup so they can lose less games elsewhere.
Why do most tf2 players hate to lose that much? I loved getting rolled by a prem mix full of people I looked up to in a razer cup and making this horrible video. If razer cups didn't die I'd still be doing my best to make teams and get rolled. I must admit that I kinda forgot about them along with everyone else :/
What's getting rolled by a prem team going to teach a bunch of low open players? Nothing. They don't know what to change about their playstyle. Both their DM and gamesense still wouldn't be good enough to win a round even if they make the right changes. So basically they just have to sit there playing for 30 minutes (or occassionally 15 minutes if the stack decides to not BM them and run permanent offclasses and never push last)
Instead they could play mixes/pugs against other low-mid open players. There teams would be more even and they'd slowly but surely improve because making the right decisions would actually have positive outcomes for them
You learn a lot if you want to learn. You definitely won't learn anything if you don't even play.
I played in cups vs. prem/div 1 teams when i was div 6, and it was actually fun even though we got stomped every single time. Wish more people would sign up to these cups so they would keep happening. The reason why we don't have cups is because people rather play mixes and PCWs than play in a cup and get actual experience.
GentlemanJonshorasAlso logs.tf exist. They don't only show the score and the map, but also exact date and time. Pretty sure there was a thread on that.Easy to fake
Also easy to prove that the logs were faked, in which case you'd get a FAT penalty.
