#1 Hot Cheetos and Takis are looking for backups! in Recruitment (looking for team)

Yo, Hot Cheetos and Takis have pretty much solidified our starting lineup for S14 Open, but we're still looking for some dedicated backups. Right now we primarily need backups at MEDIC, DEMO, and SOLDIER

WE NEED A STARTING SCOUT OH GOD PLEASE HELP

The roster is currently:

Medic: owl
Demo: v3kz
Soldier: clutch, toxic
Scout: Key

We all love TF2 but some of us have lives or something and will need people occasionally for scrims. We try to scrim or do map/demo review from like 8-11:30 EST most nights. You're welcome to be around for all or any part of that, as well as our regular early afternoon and late night lobby and pub adventures!

As an added bonus, any backup asked to play in a match for us will get complimentary ESEA Premium paid for by yours truly (because I just love you that much).

Hit me up at http://steamcommunity.com/id/o_w_l/ if you're a cool person who wants to back up in ESEA next season ;)

#51 S14 ESEA-O Scout LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

devon is really, really good at this game, and any previous personality problems are a thing of the past. I know the minus frag brigade was out for blood in this topic, but it'll be a complete travesty if devon doesn't get a team for next season because there are few people who get offended by him. I don't know how you could, the kid doesn't even swear.

#55 What music do you listen to while you play? in TF2 General Discussion

Honestly, pretty much anything. Some days it's Regina Spektor, some days it's Brand New, other days I put on Glitch Mob. Deffo have to have music when I'm playing though.

brownymasterKeyHey man, you need to relax. Flippers isn't perfect, he makes mistakes, too. Maybe his anger got the better of him.He makes quite a bit though.

Everyone makes quite a bit of mistakes every once in a while

#49 Geknaiir LFT? in Recruitment (looking for team)

Thx for giving away our super secret aggression stratz.

Real talk gek is a great dude who should be starting on an open team. Hilarious too, and his voice is beautiful even though he jams his mic down his throat before getting into mumble.

#5 LightningSpike looking for a team (to cuddle with) in Recruitment (looking for team)

Ok, here's what's up. Lightning is literally the coolest person I've played this video game with. He backed up for the team I was on last season, and never once complained about being asked to come play at the last second, and was always truly fun to talk to in mumble. I don't know how many times I stayed up way too late just chillin and talking with Lightning.

Like he said, consistency is the only thing that needs work. He's an extremely talented guy who, when on, can compete with anyone in open. Even when he's a bit off he's at worst a mid-level scout.

Mid teams should get him if they want a scout with the potential to absolutely carry in some matches, and high open teams should pick him up if they aren't gonna get mad at the occasional rough scrim and want someone who will never be out of position or try for dumb hero plays.

Also he destroyed dflame in a 1v1 in a scrim last night 8)

#2 Low-mid open roamer lft in Recruitment (looking for team)

Broham has all of the technical skill you could want from a roamer. He's a bit over aggressive and tends to sac himself a bit too much, but he's been working hard at getting better. The game sense will come quickly for him.

He will drop medics and giggle about it the whole time. Then he'll message that medic on steam and apologize for it.

#35 Hellbent LFT Roamer in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hellbent is an absolutely awesome roamer. High open teams looking to make playoffs should give him a very long look.

#17 Spring Break in Off Topic
klananaMr_OwlklananaThe real world doesnt give you spring break =(

I should have been a teacher.

LMAO @ teachers getting spring break

It's like working from home for a week instead of going into the office. Spring break is when I do a combination of grading backlogged papers and praying I don't get laid off.

I'm sorry... I have 5 paid holidays this year and a TOTAL of 10 sick/vacation days (which we are forced to use 4 if we want to get paid the week of christmas since the office is closed). But you get to work from home for a week - sounds like torture. AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON SUMMER.

(ps im not hating on you - im hating on myself)

:P in the long run, teaching really isn't that bad. It's definitely not any sort of walk in the park though. Between the absolutely garbage pay for young teachers, the possibility of getting RIF'd any given year, and the soul-crushing depression of teaching being nothing like what you wanted it to be, it's still pretty bad.

We do get summers though (where we can work a seasonal job because living on a teacher's salary is just plain impossible lmao)
