Correct me if im wrong but isnt the problem that map makers cant change those values its something valve has to do?

Usually when tf2 gets front page it gets like +3k views at most so the 12k definetly wasnt all because of the front page

I feel like the difference between the kaidus bug meme and dmoule SMOrc is that the bug meme was made with the intention of making fun of the player while the SMOrc thing is well just SMOrc

Ive definetly seen a fair share of animosity towards 7 for seemingly no reason for a long while now. Im pretty sure the whole thing started as a way of making fun of the Crowns i58 playstyle but 7 hasnt played like that since Crowns ceased to be, probably because they picked up players like Alle and AMS over time that play a more aggro style. Since then ive seen people make fun of 7 for literally anything they do.

Call me a 7 fanboy or a TFTV forum rat(lol) or whatever i dont care but i think my opinion was formed as a direct response to the mean spirited and vile attitude of many other members of the community.
What bothers me most is ive seen newer and younger players just accept these types of jokes at face value because the toxic players are usually the loudest which makes them seem like the majority so people try and appease them in order to fit in.
To be fair i cant really blame the newer players. In such a small community voicing an opinion that differs from what may seem like is the majority is really scary because of the fear of being made fun of. I am more criticizing the behaviour of some of the bigger figures in our small community and i do hope newer players realize they dont have to be assholes in order to fit in.

They didnt get banned solely for harassing Uberchain, they got banned for harassement. Its not etf2ls fault the original thread was made and caused such a stir

And even if they were, you have to start somewhere so why in the hell not now when theres more than a good enough reason to do so
It was the straw that broke the camels back i suppose

After the first couple of posts that made it seem people were actually gonna defend this type of shitty behaviour im glad this thread turned around

Well to me personally it just depends on two things
Are you saying it with malicious intent?
Would you keep doing it if someone expressed it was making them uncomfortable?
If the answer is no to both then, in my eyes, its fine

Well games always been dead if u exclude when the stream tab was first added to tf2 and everybody got +100 viewers for a while

I feel like the majority of the community are nice but the bad eggs are very vocal and stick out

Imo the tf2 community took a huge blow when a lot of the older players left for ow and now it just reeks of teen angst

And also just by watching streams i would say that its far from true that only 7 shittalk

Thats not what i meant. I meant she is voicing her experiences to help others realise they arent alone in similiar hardships.
The whole spiel about pred and degu is another thing, theyre just being held responsible for their "jokes"
