gargleburryif valve implements the stream list theni55 will get a shit ton of views
bearodactylthat would be cool but if a lot of people end up watching the video the 'hiding' spots won't really work anymore since people will know to start checking them
realistically people should be checking them anyway, they will not work consistently if the other team is adaptive
manaI'm sorry I made faces at the camera, I honestly just had too much energy and it was my first time on a talk show setting.

ErenJayPeople keep saying that people that like pubs don't like comp tf2, but I don't think that's always true. After all, unless you are like, one of the founding fathers, we all loved pub tf2 before we started comp. Otherwise why would we bother?
the most casual community, r/tf2 had such a positive response to matchmaking. there is clearly the potential, people just needed a passage into the comp world and now they will have it
Mr_Harvardthis forum is mainly for ESEA NA 6s, you will find much more sucess on etf2l and ugc.

that said, posting here really won't help you.
enigmavibhavpWould love to see the traffic stats for today, now that this is the topmost post on r/tf2 (and on reddit's frontpage). *pokes enigma*

holy shit
DemarinixattuuHow are valve and the community initially going to differentiate pub players who have never played comp before and open + (or even ugc) players in skill difference? Or is it just going to be a free for all fuck fest for a few weeks?
There's a lot more questions than just that. How will that quantify skill/rank? Will it be by class? Will it be overall wins/kdr? How do you choose who is playing what class? It's unreasonable to expect everyone to be good with every class in an fps compared to playing support vs core in dota. What if the someone leaves? In CSGO you're fucked. Will it be the same here? It will be a much bigger deal if your medic leaves. Weapon bans? Hat bans? Those are what I've thought of in about 30 seconds. I bet there are a dozen more, and I highly doubt Valve can handle implementing this effectively considering it seems like all of their talent is working on Dota 2.
they've been working on it for a while and decided to announce it to the public
wait for fully charged
