awesome looking hud!!!
will check out soon for sure!
hey guys, its plobs.
many of these threads in the mentoring section i've seen have been based off of ESEA/high CEVO tf2 players.
now most of you after reading this i can guarantee will mention something like 'ugc forums is the place to go get help'.
WELP
now I'm not going to lie, I'm currently leading a Iron 6v6 team in ugc. Yes, I am aware this is the lowest level of competitive team fortress 2.
I get quite a bit of practice in, and scrim at least once a night since the season started.
I've noticed many of the better teams that play this game, excel not because of dm, but because of pure comms and positioning.
therefore, I would greatly appreciate it if someone could teach me more advanced game sense, then I already know. Though I play in iron and I'm aware the competition is not the greatest, I still feel like my comms and game sense seem to be stagnant for the last bit and it would be pretty cool if someone could get me off my feet.
some strategies that would be cool include going over STV demos/practicing in general with higher level players.
I've read a couple really handy articles but they don't really seem to transfer into my actual gameplay.
like i said, i've tried to find some ugc level mentors, but yeah. thought i'd just throw this our there!
btw : thanks to marxist http://teamfortress.tv/thread/10754/?page=1 that was really helpful
