You MUST purchase a PAX East badge before purchasing BYOC. When accompanied by a PAX Badge, this badge entitles you to a reserved space to set up your own computer in our PC area. You won't need this if you just want to bring a laptop and hang out somewhere, but if you want bring in your gaming computer and have your own spot in our private BYOC area specifically for LAN gaming, that's where this badge comes in.

Pax seemed hopeless this year. I don't care much for the convention. I go to see friends and LAN but with shit selling out so fast a lot of my friends seemed like they werent gonna go. Some of them got tickets, I didn't. We all picked up byoc passes tho. Those things are almost impossible to get once they sell out, whereas the pax passss are always on eBay or Craigslist or something.
I'm still planning on going but I'm gonna wait for the price of tickets on eBay to drop (they always do). On twitter pax staff were saying that in order to combat people buying huge bulks of passes for resale will have orders cancelled and they will go back into the system. I'm gonna try to get lucky with those first, and I also don't wanna jump on an overpriced eBay resale if that person happens to get their order cancelled.
Our group of friends always goes to pax and we always have some people getting their passes off eBay. If you want to go, get a byoc pass now before they sell out. Get pax passss later. If you don't/can't you can easily resell the byoc pass.

Idk if anyone remembers a little red head kid that played CSS and lol. Would be cool if that person played still. I remember him talking about his team or something. I also remember him packing a lip of tobacco if that means anything lol

They have kinda given TF2 the shaft there over the last 2 years, but I'm talking to some people to try and bring it back. We've had really solid tf2 tournaments there in the past, but if that's your only reason for trying to go this year my guess is you will be pretty disappointed. They haven't announced any tournaments yet, and while I will try to make it happen I can't make any promises.

Pax east has never sold out this fast before. It's crazy. They've reintroduced some Friday tickets into the pool. There are still some available as I write this. If you miss them, keep an eye on the page - they re-add when they cancel scalper orders.
EDIT - 20 minutes later and they are gone. Keep your eyes peeled though - I'm sure there will be more.

They made a mistake announcing when the tickets would go on sale in advance. Anyway to those who are going, even if you don't have BYOC we should organize something at the Intel booth. Maybe a little bit of 6s
