(I assume you're in a big vaudoise city)
A lot of Migros (maybe Coop too, not sure) have small ad boards at the entrance for people to advertise their services. You could check if someone is offering french courses or you could leave your information there asking for help. Otherwise try to consume medias in French : videos, books, TV anything helps as long as you put the effort :). Also don't be afraid to ask for help in English to younger people, we have like 5 years of English at school so a good chunk of the younger population has a decent grasp of the language.
