CodI set teamspeak's priority to low and tf2's to realtime, and it made no difference
Don't set it to realtime. Set it to high. Realtime isn't what you want, as it fluctuates priority.
CodTF2 uses 664mb of about 2.5gb of ram
Ok, so that's not the issue. CPU usage?

TF2 Hud/Cfg that blocks out names

bLabudhud has that as a customization option; install it and remove the underscore from the end of the "_stream_" folder.
If we use another hud (I.E. for me I'm using ahud) and drop that into our hud folder will it work fine?
EdLolingtonIn hudlayout.res find HudDeathNotice, that's the killfeed. Change the font to null and you'll be left with just the icons and no text.

TF2 for High School E-sports League?

CorunsonAm I the only one that believe that our education system should NOT be involved in e-sports? (I'm ok with video game clubs tho in general). The only reason I accept sports at schools is cause It is healthy for your body to participate in those activities.
If it does happen one day I can accept it but I'd rather it not be there in the first place
E-Sports isn't going to replace gym. It's extracurricular activities, It's not enforced by the curriculum.
I agree with you on your notions but I don't think that E-Sports being part of school curriculum is coming anytime in the near future

Gritomai mean i go to a college of several thousands of people where the only game they acknowledge as an "esport" is league
i asked the gaming club if they hosted tf2 and they just plain asked me what tf2 was, needless to say that the interest for tf2 as an esport just wasnt there
if its unlikely for a collegiate tf2 league to develop i doubt the average run-of-the-mill high school would be willing to jump on board with tf2, in terms of support, playerbase, etc
You'd be surprised, there is quite a large player base in my local highschool and they aren't just run of the mill pubbers, many of them have done TF2Center/mixed before. A lot of my friends that I've introduced into Comp TF2 have been quite interested from what I've experienced. There's a larger player count here for TF2 than there is for LoL

I get this for pretty cheap so I don't feel inclined to upgrade
I don't really lag out but I've had disconnections rarely. I'm also on WiFi right now until we get power-line or actual internet to the upstairs.
