I have a question:
If I were to go straight to GXL from work on Thursday, would I be allowed into the facility to talk with friends that evening? Do I HAVE to have a special pass for that?

unfim not sure if it was already addressed, im buying my plane ticket this week and i need some info
are most people who are going arriving on thursday or friday?
do we have hotel info yet to book a room?
do i need to know anything specific when flying in?
do i need a cab from airport?
is there anything fun to do if i come thursday or do i just jerk off in the hotel room until friday?
1. Last year's GXL had people arriving between later Thursday night to early Saturday morning. This one will be far bigger - so arriving on Thursday or early Friday will actually make a lot of sense.
2. GXL does allow you use the facility to sleep (it's a BIG convention hall). Hotel details will be updated at a later time (I think fragile's on it)
3. Nothing special here, just have a buddy take you to the facility from the airport.
4. Use a fellow gamer and buy him a drink.
5. If you arrive Thursday, you'll get to chill with the "early bird" people that paid $15 to setup a day early.

ESEA S16 - half of the season

I understand that this question is extremely premature, but what about Season 17?
Open started with 31 teams - and is already down to 24-25 if I'm not mistaken. Assuming that 12-16 teams go up into IM, you'll have at MOST 8-12 remaining teams that return for ESEA Open S17. Will providing incentives for new teams work once more? How do you intend to sell your product going forward (it's clear that you WANT some sort of presence in competitive TF2)?
