best book i've read.
pretty good if your scouts are willing to carry the shit out of you
can we create a petition to ban mustard everywhere
tetrominoLast season I had a problem with listening to criticism from players more experienced than me. When air or testify told me to do something or questioned my play I took it as a personal attack. It's a problem I didn't know existed before then and I'm really trying to work on it.
...
It's frustrating because I'd like to think that I'm committed to changing but apparently that hasn't been the case and I apologize.
I apologize for doing this in a public thread tetro, but if removing us all from friends immediately is any indication of behavior changes in the way you receive criticism, then I'm not sure what to say.
I actively tried to talk to people like bsc and vortex about what I could do better and wasn't able to get a conversation going. But not once did anyone else ask for help with a problem they were having or talk as a team about issues. Obviously if I was what was holding the team back I apologize.
Most of the issues I saw aren't things that could get fixed in a steam chat, demo review, etc. They are more so technical and really just need to be worked out with practice and time. Your ability to predict damage, keep track of critical heals, and hold good positioning during engagements is lacking. You're generally slow to react and have pretty poor movement. These are not problems with your character, this doesn't mean you're not a good teammate, but ultimately you'll need to put a lot of time into pugging/scrimming/dming in an offseason to really work out your problems.
I'm not about to tell a teammate in the middle of a season that he needs to improve on things that he can't improve any faster. That would only make your confidence waver and you'd be miserable - trust me I've been there.
I'm not trying to be mean but I think what I have to say is ultimately helpful. My suggestion is to simplify your game. I understand you do a lot of demo reviews with Mike, but those can do as much harm as good considering you are (as with 99% of everyone else) not as good as Mike so I'm not sure why anyone would want to imitate him. I know its important to be constantly be thinking one step ahead of everyone as medic, but I would encourage you to focus on the simpler details and move from there.
I mean I guess i'm down to play on Saturday at 1:30 AM though
tooth is the only player with negative fantasy points
I am being forced to play please help me
decide as a team beforehand who you'll blame if you lose the match
botmodeprediction: the teams featuring bsc and tankman will be dead before week 6
that's a generous estimate
