#19 Clarification for LFT and LFP forums in Site Discussion

so basically im being elitist? fine but as owl said lfthl is a lot of what i meant - a lot of these posts are generic posts where people say they want to be spy or pyro and we should send those to ugc. and yeah pazer, i can totally see that but what else do i say? for people newer to the game? for HL players and newer players to the format or smth?

like for the most part i can totally see where im being a retard/elitist but its almost necessary to say smth of that sort

also pls tell me if im being an idiot instead of just downfragging, i need to see where my thinking goes wrong

#12 How do i know if im "comp worthy"? in Q/A Help

you're never not comp worthy tbh, just hop into tf2center (or stadium when it comes out woot) and play until you feel comfortable - not necessarily until you're good or do well but until you feel good.

#7 Clarification for LFT and LFP forums in Site Discussion

fatswimdude I agree - it's something that I said in my default response, here it is for reference:

retrogradeHey there! This LFT forum is geared towards ESEA players. While the rest of the forum contains discussion fit for every level of competitive play, this LFT area isn't for new players to the competitive scene. I would recommend checking out the UGC website and forum, the latter of which has an LFT section more akin to your experience.

http://ugcleague.com is the main website
http://ugcleague.net/forum is the forum

^this is what I mean, maybe we can make that more clear?

#1 Clarification for LFT and LFP forums in Site Discussion

We've had a recent influx of people posting non-ESEA LFT and LFP threads in the respective forums and I think a message upon posting/trying to post a thread would be a good way to deter these threads. Possibly something like the default copy-pasted response that I put in these threads (that I'm sure some of you have seen)?

ur going for a material and simplistic feel but ur logo (which ur basing it off of) isnt like that, the disconnect is eh but its fine i guess

i like the new design

and for the tf2/cs logo difference put it on the back somewhere or bottom left of the front? i think i still have you added from the last time i did graphics for u so ill send u smth

flame is too complex, fill in the middling black bits of the individual flames and itll look better
i also agree with the polo sentiments, itll look nicer
