Is there a way to change the size of particle effects? I've messed around with the particle editor but wasn't able to find anything, I was wondering if changing the healsign.vtf size would do it but I am unable to find it anywhere
toads_tfroboprodno its a gay solution i sold all my crates and wanted to buy some of these fuckersYeeHawIdk about them waiting over the weekend. The longer they wait, the more damage will be done if they decide to reset everyone’s inv. They probably have to reset csgo/Dota/whatever as well because items get traded between those games and tf2.
well its back to normal boys, market has returned but the unusuals have become untradeable and unmarketable, still kinda bad but yeah decent solution
gay solution because it doesn't benefit your ass lul

beatriceVeccrealistically, how do they fix this?probably just make them untradable/unmarketable so people still get to wear the hats but it doesn't effect the market
rollback is probably the most logical option right?
it'd still affect the market because the item rarity would be diminished quite a lot, which makes items less valuable and in term make the economy even more messed up than it was before

HildrethAptShooshone could even argue that thats part of the reason why esea died, because instead of everyone playing in one spot it was split among 5 or so placesMitch_ UGC, RGL, TFCL, ESL, ESEAOn another note, I didnt even know this many leagues existed in NA for TF2.
we might have had enough teams to justify them keeping the league alive if every single 6s team played esea in NA but there's no use imagining what might have been at this point
Doubt people registering for a league like UGC or RGL want to pay to play ESEA, I also doubt the chances the potential 10 extra teams that would play ESEA if they had nowhere else to play would have saved the league - I genuinely believe community leagues are a gateway for people to play TF2 and then enter a league like ESEA, they probably did a lot more to help the league than damage them - Ask all the HL guys who went on to ESEA.
I got no proof of this, I just don't think there is any blame to be laid on free community leagues - Communities make the game the best game it can be, TF2 has been visibly losing numbers since well - Valve fucked over communities in TF2 in a variety of ways we all know about. That's harmed the game more than anything - ESEA supported TF2 for longer than it really should have, it's been a crazy ride and a lot of good times watching TF2 came from it.
I still want my £200 I invested trying to help ESEA EU grow way back btw....maybe not.
End of an era for TF2, I wonder where all the NA guys go now.
I do understand your point, to do with having these many leagues may not have impacted TF2's ESEA survivability. But in my opinion I would still rather have every player in the same league and try to include all of them rather than having your numbers split between different leagues so that they "practice" for the main leagues when stuff like open (e.g. in ETF2L) already exists.
Because I believe part of the issue like many are arguing for is that all these different leagues don't boast only 2 teams competing against each other. There in fact is a larger portion of teams that haven't made their ways to the bigger leagues because they either haven't been exposed to them correctly or are just too scared when they shouldn't be.
Now imagine this scenario fractured between 5+ leagues.
I don't have any numbers to back up my claims so by all means I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain of my points.
I got these emails as well lmao x)
Thank you for all of your guy's support, I appreciate all of your valuable comments and if I edit another one I will absolutely take all of these into consideration as I learned a lot and agree with a lot of what you guys said. Seriously thank you for checking it out :)
only reason i made a new thread was because i could not find a fragmovie thread to post it in and i didn't feel like it was appropriate to put it in frag clips channel. Thanks for your criticism though, I was aware that my clips aren't of the highest quality and I should use demos instead of shadowplay which is what I will do next! For those who don't appreciate my efforts, it's all good I can't please everyone but I'll take your critisicm to mind!
my second fragmovie edited and clips by myself!
I hope you enjoy it :)
I believe something that could help the pug system is possibly daily events that happen at given times and rotate throughout the week to accomodate to player's time tables and allow them to play.
These events would be posted on faceit or discord like 12-24h before it happens and it would let people know that players would be able to join and play the game with other people of similar skills, for example have an event that is invite pug at 4:30pm (timezone), or include a small ladder that would reward the players who win said event a prize.
My thought process behind this idea is that invite players would be notified beforehand the details of the event, in doing so it would allow pugs to be more selective since these events would be locked to invite players that can join to show their participation.
This system can be used to make different events across all skill levels that promote fun, competitiveness and even less standard game mode/maps.
unsmellYou might be missing one of these? The voicelines, and I think the menu music as well, are in these package files

Hey unsmell, no I am not missing these as I just checked. And its also not possible for me to be missing any of them since TF2 voice lines do work in windows 7 like i previously stated when using the same untouched version of tf2 from my windows 10 partition.
VisI hear everything and I'm on win 10, the OS might not be an indicator.
People that have this bug have reported to be only on windows 10, none yet have reported to have this bug on windows 7. While it might not be windows 10 problem it might be tf2 compatibility problem with windows 10.
