i don't mean grilled cheese, i mean find the most complicated shit you can and work at it until you get it perfect. beef wellington, souffle, crepes... tricky recipes and will come in useful when someone is actually willing to sleep with you someday. when i got bored one time i learned how to make fresh pasta dough from scratch. pizza dough and chicken stock are also good skills. cooking is literally science you can eat, and if you're on a diet for your "swoling" it can have added benefits.

i make soup from scratch (chicken noodle, french onion, potato chowder, w/e). fully aware this sounds fucking insane, but i will drag myself out of bed just to make a good soup. then i watch old english murder mysteries and eat soup until i fall asleep.
