I haven't been able to keep up with all the tf2 happenings lately, but truktruk told me to join the Razer team for this thing and yesterday was able to play in a match. The format is really cool for these I think. Sure it's going to be hard to get some wins against certain teams that register, but it looked like to me even with only like 10 teams or so that there were varying skill levels among them. Matches are always going to be more fun and better practice and better experience than scrims, so I think most teams should be taking advantage of this. The website automation stuff went very smoothly as well.
Wow that reads like a blogger or someone that was paid to review something but I was just genuinely impressed with the format and had some fun so yeah. Go play in it~
We are in need of an experienced web developer, preferably with some design skill as well. All work would ideally be on a volunteer basis.
If interested, please send a portfolio and contact info to staff@tipofthehats.org
Thanks!
eeeammo888I'm a junior so I have still a year to get my shit done and then cross fingers on engineering schools and IVY.srs protip:
get started now
I waited and now im lolcommunity college partially because of that
nothing wrong with lolcommunitycollege. can potentially save you a shitload of money. if you have your heart set on pursuing a 4 year degree, look into their transfer requirements and get a list of accepted courses at community colleges. i saved a fuckload by transferring a lot of my english101-type credits and living at home for another year.
i would not lead off with anime or magic the gathering. that's such a low percentage play. wait until you're in a committed relationship and then be like "LOL HEY I'M GOING TO DALLAS FOR A THING ITS A VIDEO GAME AND I'M GOOD AT IT DONT ASK QUESTIONS LOVE YOU!"
worked for me.
i make team win LAN l8r b4nny Classic Bud^
Jjolaney: my anus is clenched so tight if i farted only dogs would hear it
Twitch chat the real winner
back to back 4k's damn
EDIT: TO BACK WTF
Had a lot of fun playing. Only gripe was the mini-crit mechanic instantly activating after the point cap. I like the mechanic as a balancer for teams that are outnumbered trying to respawn their players but it shouldnt instantly activate imo.
sorry no ticks but i got 5 scout povs.

It was sort of a small venue but there were still lots of people, you're an adorable little man, and everyone else was SEVEN FEET TALL. We sat ten feet away from the "admin" desk but it was unmanned fairly frequently. If you need to assign shifts to a "station" then whatever, but I think having 1 spot someone can always go for assistance or report scores is better than having to hunt down a person. The mumble setup made it so this might not even be necessary(with the Admin channel), but I went there for assistance twice and the person/people in it weren't at their computers.
i dont understand
i sat there waiting for the entire video for cyzer to do something, and nothing happened.
am i being trolled?
I did everything recommended in the ESEA instructions, and the only thing that fixed it for me was going to an old system restore point from about 5 days prior(when my client worked). I think the only thing I changed that might have affected the client at all was updating my mumble client.
good luck
dingoid rather have no caster than getawhale
Mike was put in a tough spot. Didn't plan on casting. There were numerous technical delays. Everyone is very short on sleep. It's rough.
Everyone here, especially Mike, is super nice. Did you know mike drove an extra 1.5hrs yesterday to pick up gamers from the airport after he made it to the hotel? I think I'm a nice guy but even I woulda said "sorry buds I'm super tired".
So Mike isn't your favorite caster, ok. He is super chill. And I'm not saying that Mikes automatically a good caster because he's nice, I'm just saying that everyone here is nice. I imagine if you were here you'd probably be a nice gamer too. But you're not. You're just an internet person. A shitty internet person that's killing our nice gamer buzz.
I'm tired as fuck on my phone. Hope that made sense. (You're a shit)
