If you get a ticket wont the dota merch and signatures for ingame stuff etc make back your $?
It seems like people would pay a shitload for that stuff, but maybe I'm wrong. Also, holy shit watching TI3 games was the first time in a long time I audibly cheered at a monitor, and it'd be incredible to go. Too bad it's Seattle and I'm a broke gamer.
the beta seemed clunky, but i was never able to play due to all the events being on weekends. how did this turn out? worth the $ + subscription fee? i would play for the PvP more than anything.

If I have time and actually want to play a pug I'm forced to do tf2center(which is fine!) because the irc channels seem to have died.
Also, I'm pretty sure if people want high skill level pugs(people that play in ESEA/CEVO), I think the best option would be to create a steam group and use tf2center with a passworded lobby or something.
shoutout to the 45 dudes that actually showed up to play. i'm sorry we didn't get you all involved.
cage-oPlaid and Tyrone???
THE HYPE IS REAL
Permzillai'd much rather watch an allstar mix of players instead of "top eu team vs top NA team", it's a lot more relaxed and fun to watch
a lot harder to coordinate scheduling with the players as well.
Hallowwhat's up with the eu vs na matches?
who's playing?
teams or allstar mixes?
HL is Electric Temptations vs. Highpander
6's is made in germany vs. Exertus(exertus is missing bdonski, I think made in germany is missing ipz)
hanbroloBubba2. kinda random, but how did you decide to benefit One Step Camp, vs Make A Wish or another non-profit?
I don't want to answer for them but I know that cbear had ties with the camp from a while back so that was probably the origin.
cbear linked us the charity and I thought it was a great organization. During/after last years event I got a lot of messages from people saying they donated specifically because of the charity we chose, and that donating towards helping the people currently battling Cancer means a lot more to the families than donating towards Cancer research.
renxzenhow do you know tf2 community pockets will be full again for the fundraising of i52 for Australia and Northamerica?
A very very large portion of the tf2 community doesn't follow competitive, and wouldn't donate to/be aware of the competitive fundraisers. The two causes are very different from one another.
