I queued for a pub and got put into a LA server. I was confused because i live on the east coast. I go to check that my matchmaking settings didnt change for some random reason. While i was looking through the list of places Valve has servers i did not see Sterling on the List. Did they stop them for some reason (as in updating the hardware of the servers or something along those lines) or is this some glitch that I have?

Im sorry but no serious players will join that
twiikuuI'll go ahead and make the wild claim that success, in this case, implies player retention.
FACEIT were "impressed" by the numbers because we were the first hub to get any attention, that's mostly because no other CSGO community had picked up or even heard of hubs yet. Mythic League had like 3000 subs last time I talked to one of their devs (6+months ago), that's half of the entire TF2PL registred playerbase paying $5 a month.
TF2PL was a nice attempt, I appreciate all the work that everyone involved put in, it was not successful.
Even though you considered it to be a failure, do you think with a couple of changes to the platform it could be successful assuming that the mindset would change if the changes were good enough to warrant the new mindset?
I personally believe that it could work with just a couple of changes. It seems to me that we are having more open games more recently that just a month ago. I feel like with a couple of changes more people would actually feel like adding up.
mustardoverlordtf2 would be a much more teamwork oriented game if standards were higher, ie coaches and gaming houses and giant prizepools
but thats just not how it is
But us lowly tf2 players could only dream of that ever happening. But hey, maybe valve has something up their sleeve that could help with that, though i doubt it
Now if only we could get more/better competition in ESEA Invite. I really want to see a team that can compete with Froyo for more than just 1 season before the team dies.
