Played in it tonight with a dogs.tf mix. Few things I need to point out.
1. With 1 hour gaps between each match and a score limit of 3 rounds it can make games very short the wait for the next game really long. This could be fixed by allowing teams to play their next match right after they finished the previous one when both teams have readied up (or see number 4).
2. The version of process they are using is "B4". I have no idea how they managed to even get that. I have never played it and didn't know it existed. Its not even the official version valve use and i'm not sure if its even been used in competitive play before.
3. Servers are all on Netherlands. Would be nice to see a variety of servers as some people don't get good ping to Netherlands.
4. I think maybe the admins should just use the ETF2L rules for a timelimit and win difference. This would mean that teams can actually come back from games instead of losing the whole match cause they lost 3 rounds at the start. Also you wouldn't have to wait for like an hour between each match. If there is no time limit then games might go on for a really long time so it makes it hard for the admins to set a time for the next match. This is why I think that a 30 minute time limit is the best option.
5. And finally there are a few minor bugs that could use fixing (for example when you die you aren't able to spectate your team, you can only see a black screen).
It definitely needs some changes for it to work but I think this has got a lot of potential.
Sakkeus_IIstart counting how many times you got laid (+pussykarma)
you were born, means you almost got laid, +0,5 points
what?
What the fuck lol why would you make a thread cause 1 person minus fragged you?
"I don’t know you and I don’t even play TF2 competitively, but just by reading the forums you seem like a fucking cunt, staying behind his computer and insulting other people he does not know. I just wanted to tell you that you look stupid doing this. And what is you problem with coast to coast, they are just a new forming team trying to get into prem." – Masternoob
Hey now OP that's not a very nice thing to say!
lawl thanks for the ip OP!
FireStarwbaby steps, there are still pubbers on spuf that will argue for random crits
Well they can leave them on in pubs so the 12 year olds who can only get kills by getting unfair crits won't start crying. Though if valve are still planning competitive matchmaking then they should really be turned off for fairness.
vtable>Random Damage Spread is off by default
nice
But why don't they turn off random crits by default? If they release the matchmaking and random crits are enabled I will be upset. Imagine the grand finals being decided by a random crit sticky onto 5 players.
RainmanThe weapon changes only apply in that gamemode, right?
That would make no sense. It seems to me like they are trying to balance weapons for the matchmaking. Still a few of the weapons need to be nerfed/buffed a little more if this will work without being frustrating as fuck.
harbls_herbal_teaDogs forced to bow wout of their aspirations to win prem.
We tried ;_;. Anyway gotta remember we finished 7th in high last season. I think we totally killed it this season. No one was expecting us to do this well.
Don't listen to this guy. Anime ruined my life.
thmpsnwhen i discovered this, honestly all i cared about is that we are now one step closer to the downfall of religion, which divides the world into bits and just creates disagreements among humans
Why is this plusfragged? Please don't tell me the majority of people here actually believe this. I don't feel like writing a really long post but please actually research and find out what religion is and all the different religions and their beliefs before making posts like this.
