I should probably say the whole reason I made this thread is because a girl I have loved for 3 years told me I wasn't spending enough time with her and then said I was "a loser with a retarded sounding lisp" I know I am feeling sorry for myself but its hard when you have loved someone for 3 years and they suddenly abandon you as they want someone who isn't a video game nerd with a retarded sounding lisp. I made this thread because I am wanting a girl to spend this new years eve listening to music with me like I did with my old one. I haven't eaten anything in 30 hours and I have been stuffing my face with Valium all night wanting to die. I know I seem like I am seeking attention but I just want someone to listen to the music I like with me while I wallow in self pity instead of spending new years eve alone.

capnfapn I'm sorry :( I actually really like those bands you mentioned a lot, you just came off like you're a super special unique snowflake for liking them when they're actually pretty popular.
Music is not a competition. There are popular bands I like (brand new, weezer, capnjazz and the smiths) but there are also bands I like that I highly doubt you have ever heard and could ever get into for example Village The Brave Little Abacus
and My Heart To Joy or Rozwell Kid
But this doesn't matter because music is not a competition to see who listens to the most obscure music. I will listen to music that is well made and evokes a lot of emotion and I don't care if it is popular or not.

But this has literally nothing to do with videogames at all. Maybe post this kind of stuff on another site like reddit, more "cute girls" will probably see it there.
I'm not going to reddit. It is full of idiots and the only place I can ever talk about music is /mu/ but its not like I can find any cute girls there. I know there are girl gamers around here who could talk about my favourite music while playing dota/tf2.
