I know how to do it for the menu but I don't know how to get an image to show on the screen where I'm connecting to a server

Currently when I'm joining a map it looks something like this

And I was wondering if and if so, how can I change the background of the map and stamps to a photo of my choosing.
I remember a friend having changed it but I haven't been able to contact them :c

RESOLVED!
the guide below works for menus but to get it to the loading screens u have to add another vtf for background01.vtf that goes in console AND make a new folder in wallpapers/materials and name it vgui before putting in the stamp_background_map.vtf in that vgui folder then it worked

and I thought Christianity about helping thy neighbor lmfao
