The commands to skip ticks / start recording / etc inside the VDM files are not being executed when I start a demo. It did work some time ago with a single VDM file, now I've tried making a list of those but nothing is happening. What could cause this?

Are you talking about this one? I've bought it for myself but haven't experienced any "terrible input lag". There was one Acer monitor mentioned in "120 Hz Monitor Thread" that was said to have input lag, but it's a different one.
