#702 ESEA's possible demise? in TF2 General Discussion

freakinthrasherNow before I get yelled at for suggesting this, my team won IM... We are supposed to play in main this season. This plan would effect us.

ESEA needs to take emergency action. kill the main division, shift all the main teams down to IM, and all the IM teams to open. Have a season to keep things afloat. If cevo fails this season, everyone will flood back to ESEA.this. I don't know why the first step would be to completely drop tf2 when they could save money by dropping divisions. It's not ideal but even if they had to get rid of main AND IM, they should. It used to be only invite and open, and at least we would still have lan.

I'd be completely okay with just Open and Invite, I'd give up Main for it.

Main was awesome, I don't give a fuck if my team went 5-11. I learned a shitload from this past season and we're sticking around.

And I agree with what serv0 said, I think any mid Main team would have dominated a relatively weak IM this past season.
