if you want to take that stance, fine. but don't say it is okay that vhalin did it just because he proved himself later. still, I really don't believe hacking on an alt in some lobbies/pubs(and failing at it, hence the vac ban) means he is going to cheat on his main account. Why wouldn't he just cheat on his main account in the first place?

and he would have never won lan and proved himself if he was banned from esea for cheating on and alt. why should phrakture be treated differently?

i play quake live occasionally, and used to play a lot of quakeworld. i'd be willing to duel in either but I'm not great. I have a lot more experience with qw duel, though.

I would never condone cheating on an alt but doing so does not mean you cheat on your main account. If he did, you would think his main would have gotten VAC'd too. It's pretty lame and I hate cheaters even in pubs, but to ban him from esea?

however, he should just man up to it instead of making silly excuses.

if people want to play on an alt, let them geez. OP isn't being any better by posting on what I assume is a forum alt.

I have played on an alt before and it was pretty fun. used to be pretty useful for testing config stuff without having to worry about messing up your own files, but with steampipe that isn't really possible afaik.

it is probably in your video driver settings. if you have nvidia I can help you, but since you are laptop I am assuming it is a diff driver. look for anything called "aspect scaling"

i have been playing almost daily and my experience has been much different. all the better players that frequent the server have been friendly and welcoming to tf2 players. i told them about this thread being why all these tf2 players were coming in and they were pretty grateful, because CA has become more active as of late because of it.

The only real shit talkers i have seen are generally pretty bad and obviously new. I even saw some shit talking from tf2 players that was making me embarrassed to be apart of this community....

I have been playing a LOT of Street Fighter 4 lately, it has become one of my favorite games ever. I am thinking of buying KOF just to support fighting games on steam but that games looks way too hard for me, maybe if another noobie wants to play I will get it.
