if she actually did anything important for the company i'd agree, but i haven't seen any good reason to believe she affects the actual production of the game. i'm still expecting the game to turn out great, I really just believe MM fans are overly-paranoid they will face yet another let down based on past experiences

I started reading his first book (The colour of magic? i think), enjoy it a lot. I'm about half way through but saving the rest of it for a trip I have coming up. Looking forward to continuing on with the series.

I knew squid before he had ever been to ESEA lan (I was on a team with him), and even in low invite he was focused on making LAN. Not for a vacation but because he is very competitive and wanted to prove himself where it matters most. If people think the game will be fine after the current top invite dies off, that is ok but I hate this notion that we play for a vacation. It is about getting to play on an even playing field(0 ping, 0 fps) and to experience the craziest/tense games. Getting to meet your teammates and competitors is just a plus. LAN is just the ultimate motivation to get better for a lot of us.

Before I was even in open I just wanted to play with the best. I'm sure this makes me a nerd and most don't share this feeling but I care about the competition more than anything, and whenever I wasn't at LAN I would watch every single match I could. And when I think about street fighter and SC2, which I have spent a lot of time spectating, I would lose all my interest in the game if all my favorite players stopped taking it seriously.

I'm just gonna say that I thought the talent felt awful when I tried it. Control is good for whatg it is, a very resistant mousepad that lasts a while. speed is just a fast soft pad(from what i remember) and qck is pretty solidly balanced.

I agree actually. In this case, I never really doubted the fact that phrakture cheated. There was multiple sources of evidence, such as the mge elo farming. But what if the person revealing all these alts decides he hates someone and wants to out them for being a cheater, even if they aren't? He could link anybody to some random banned account and every person in the community would believe this guy. I don't like giving that ammount of power to anyone but ESPECIALLY not someone on an alt.
