#23 Buying a new keyboard! in Hardware
Ragorism
Actually, to piggyback onto this, can anyone recommend a good and/or cheap Tenkeyless?

CM Storm QFR - Literally a filco with a different paintjob. I used one with reds. Very solid board.

Leopold - I've used a fullsize with brows, quality is great. Stock keycaps are meh, but that's the case with almost any board.

There are other decent TKLs (ducky, vortex, etc) out there in the 80-110 range, but none of them really compare in terms of build quality.

What I do hear is very precise, I just thought I could be hearing more.

#17 Which soundcard should I get? in Hardware

I have solid headphones (hd558s, foam modded). I just don't feel like I'm getting the most out of them with my stock audio.

Price really isn't all that much of an issue to me. It's not that I'd be willing to buy a 1000 dollar sound card/amp, it's more that I'm just interested in the bang:buck ratio, and I'd like to see what other people use.

Were I interested in tech specs and performance in multimedia apps/music, I'd ask on headfi.

I'm more interested in knowing things like: Hey, this douchebag prefires a rocket because he hears my spawn every time in MGE, I wonder what sound card he uses.

Thanks for all of the info so far.

atmoaudiophiles generally don't use internal soundcards

Do amps outperform cards? Or do people mostly use them for versatility?

#27 Pocket/Medic LFT S14 in Recruitment (looking for team)

Hello, my name is Sildeezy, and I'm going to tell you a story about why this is easily the best medic currently looking.

Once upon a time, I was scrimming with a would-be team as a "roaming soldier". We were trying out radium. He had a very strong sense of positioning, and the flow of the game, and a very calm confidence about him that made him stand out from other tryouts.

This scrim went south pretty fast, and some niggas started raging about baiting or something. It wasn't the first time, and raging over the internet (or anywhere) is for fake niggas. I quit the team.

The whole time, radium remained undeterred. He continued to make calls, in a calm and steady tone, even while people were screaming about some utterly retarded shit that happened like 3 middles ago. He probably wouldn't even have wanted to play for said team once the tryout was over, but he refused to give up on the game in front of him.

The internet seriously needs more people like this, and assuming his pocket play is on par with his medic play, he is easily capable of playing at the top of open.

Pick him up.

YOu want to break out the big guns? ask who I am? Ask who I am at my kid's highschool and you'll find out. They told him he couldn't join the after school pizza club and I went in there and trashed 3 classrooms. If you want to get nasty, mike, just grab some ikes.

hpI just recently moved here to Holland funny enough. What would have me do to these not-so-gentlemen two men? I have a few ideas up my pant leg.

How about I wrestle a rhino's horn off said wrestling rhinoceros, wait for them to enter the building of the current address of occupancy and drop it down from the roof, is just one the ideas, add me and message to talk further.

Best wishes.

Listen to me right, now YOU overgrown radish. Think that would work? Think again. A rhinoceros horn dropped from a roof wouldn't even hurt a mouse - not nearly enough force. You failed the test, so let me tell you the first rule to all PvX. I've been gaming for 30 years and you can't even grok partially.

#53 New Mic/Headset Advice in Hardware

Don't buy a gaming headset. If you're on a serious budget, don't buy headphones just because they are Sennheiser or Audio Technica. Most of Senn's low end models are really nothing spectacular; and while ATH m50s are a great all-around music headphone, their lack soundstage makes them near worthless for gaming. If you're spending under 80 dollars, there are better options. If you're spending more than 80:

Audio Technica AD700's are good. Don't get A700s, make sure you get AD700s.

Sennheiser HD 555/558 (foam mod these), or 595/598s are good.

AKG K701/K702/Q701s are dope, but you'll need an amp.

Beyer DT 990 premiums are good if you're looking for a headphone that will serve you better over a diverse selection of music, but you'll probably want an amp, especially on the higher ohm versions.

Modmic v2 is amazing.
