ya we were photoshopping concepts onto it e.g.
main influence was the galea helmet which from the side can look like a spartan helmet but we were using this as a ref image

team liquid jerseys from cs follow a similar pattern. but, compared to the rome logo, which is a front facing perspective, the liquid logo is a sideways perspective which integrates into their jersey design pretty well. so ya

another draft we followed up was using roman tile patterns fading up from the waist bottom, laurel around the neck opening, with a bright maroon background (note -- no sleeves because jersey template separates the front torso / sleeves). def influenced by the rome logo color and can be compared to the as roma soccer jerseys
