So game has now started. Delay due to some standard whitelist bugs. Im literally sat in front of the server atm speaking to the it dude. US ip thing is just a rumour, but the times of the ddos thing is correct.

Hey friends, on my phone, update.
Since early this morning, someone has been giving multiplay a crazy ddos. The internet has been on and off all morning. They're delaying the game. I've heard rumours from reliable sources that its primarily coming from US ips and started roughly right after HRG got knocked out.
LtSteveApolloftwBenson-After i49ApolloftwAt least this will be the final event with the EU rule set before switching to the NA rule set.
Since when are they switching?
You were talking about this in Sezco's chat, its not happening. We in Europe are more than content with our current ruleset.
Also, since TCM beat HRG and iM, who claims 3rd and who claims 4th ?
I'm sorry friend, but this simply isn't the case. I just checked on ETF2L, and you've only been playing for just under a year.
Most of prem is quite keen to switch. I can't speak for emb or Perm, but certainly Canfo and Sonny were keen to switch too. On balance, it does make sense to switch. Try not to turn it into an "us vs them" thing with NA. Outside of the game we're on the same side.
Also to clarify, the only reason ETF2L didn't switch to the new scoring system last season was because they didn't have enough programmer man hours needed to make the changes. I have been told this verbatim by multiple admins within ETF2L.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Ipz
[edit]Removed because Ipz is a horrific faggot and doesn't like the picture[/edit]
Also uploaded a few more photos here.
B4nny's good, but he really isn't that much better than other top NA/EU demos.
Aside from not showing tables/brackets, basically everything you said there is pretty minor.
I'll start off.
I'm helping out with KritzKast (me and Comedian are doing interviews), and I've been taking some photos on my own.
While I can't comment on either, I can tell you this.
Wireplay has someone of the best, most helpful admins you will ever see in a game league. Those guys have run it religiously since the days of TFC and were one of the first to jump on the bandwagon when TF2 came out. For 6v6 they've always struggled because they've always had this weird second class syndrome where rather than competing with ETF2L on their own terms, they'd always aim to be a fun sideshow. For example 7v7, their 6v6 unlocks/maps, etc.
If they manage to find themselves a solid niche in EU highlander, I couldn't think of better candidates for the job.
I'm cheap as hell, and I'm not gonna take it anymore!
sky_How does ESEA get these computers? Buy/rent/sponsor?
ibuypower is one of ESEA's sponsor, so they provide the PCs exactly so threads like this appear. :P
To be honest, they genuinely are one of the best pre-built producers around.
One thing I would say about logical increments is that they like to pile a fairly disproportionate amount of the budget into GPUs over the CPU. That makes sense for a lot of modern games, but with TF2 being so CPU tied it doesn't work out well. For example I have a GTX 660 in my own computer and it'll run 400fps on mid no problem, fuck I can run 3 instances of EVE on max graphics. However looking at the cheapest system on that site with a GTX 660, that'd really struggle to hold 241fps stable.
