The same version of the installer worked perfectly this morning after the it crashed spectatularly last night. No idea what to make of it.

Got a problem uninstalling latest version.
Installed with installer.
Removed form custom folder.
elements still remain, backpack, background to menu, etc.
Advise please.
Great hud, no problems, like to use another for demo.

I can't think of why elements would remain. Are there other custom folders? Check those for HUD files.
iWitheredIs there any way to fix the xHair overlapping with the scoreboard? It makes it harder to read and it's just plain annoying.
This is the nature of HUD crosshairs. There is a way to set them up using the achievement tracker that will fix this, but I wasn't smart enough to figure it out. Maybe you can search for that and find some info.

Yes. They removed the preview boxes that don't do anything so that people didn't ask why they didn't work.

it says unknown where it has to say the points and the map. Any idea how to fix?
well if you didn't update your HUD in the latest update, it would say "[unknown]" there, so maybe you just need to update rayshud.

(this is assuming it's sort of a 1v1 situation) Count your enemy's ammo when you're playing against projectile classes. Shotgun soldiers are just a scout 1v1 where it's really easy to hit them, and unloaded gunboats soldiers give you a lot of time between shots to aim carefully and hit them hard. Demos switch between stickies and pipes, pipes are basically a crapshoot at close range where you try to be hard to predict, and stickies involve watching where he's aiming and trying to stay out of the zone he's creating.
On scout v scout, just get a buff and/or a teammate, never stop the wiggles, and put your MGE/DM to work.
