Taken at my best friends' brother's party, short hair is weird, comparison
dizastascrimshawbecause cheating gives u an edge that other players dont have access to unless they are also cheating. hope that clears up any confusion ur having there bilbert
when everyone has cheats, no one has cheats
when everyones dead, nobodys dead"
going to be huge, not sure if in a very positive way though
Also, if you live in the Atlanta area, tickets for the Round Robin are completely FREE. And can be found on their website.
RadmanMax_It's a good thing random crits are disabled in all competitive formats.Read my first comment, kid. I was attacking the argument that overwatch isnt worth the time because it wasnt designed as a competitive game. TF2 also wasnt designed as a competitive game. So the argument is stupid.
I'm sure wallhacks and aimbots are banned in Overwatch as well. Oh wait
Besides, the aimbot ult is actually kind of shitty tbh. Weird thing to latch on to.
obe_I don't hear people complain much about other ults except Mei's and Hanzo's (which are both pretty mediocre, dunno why people moan about them)Cause players literally sit in them. Everytime i hear the sound for his ult, I run away and turn to see my entire team get wiped.
SkittlesBTanyway, personally i think that the $40 pricepoint is pretty steep for what they're offering on release and that either a $15-20 entry point or some sort of f2p/microtransaction model would have been more appropriate. dropped like 20ish hours into the beta and it was overally pretty enjoyable in groups of 3+ but when you just queue with one friend or solo queue the downsides of heavily team reliant/class based games really start to show when people just dont want to work together to make a coherent team or just want to do whatever they want and/or are not willing to listen
Blizz has stated that there will be NO microtransactions ever, I also believe the 40$ price tag is also to deter smurfs/hackers from purchasing multiple copies. I completely agree with you that less than a 3 stack in pubs is absolute aids. People just playing what they want and not playing to win.
Im just going to copypaste my thoughts from the open beta thread with a few adjustments
After scrimming with Avast, and bowowser5, and the_savior, kyl_, and Rhydon, among other players, it was some of the most fun Ive had playing a game competitively in forever. Moments are clutch, team talking things out in pregame and strats going accordingly feels extremely rewarding. Having your team make changes on the fly and watching how your team can majorly shift playstyles mid game is so pleasurable to see played out. The dev support is extremely exciting to see and seeing how meta evolves will be interesting.
Honestly, cant wait for release, pubs are so bad imo, but where everyone is trying in pugs and scrims makes this game infinetly times better. Scrims require a lot more thought depending on current situations, the insane amount of coordination required to set up a good push is a lot and fairly soul crushing to see not go correctly but, feels so great to pull off, winning fights even if you didnt put the most thought into it feels exciting. I was having a lot of fun during the beta and definitely going to try someone at release.
Theres still a lot of things that need to be fixed, like McCree's flashbang, Widowmaker one shotting heroes with bodyshots, Winston needs a nerf to his lightning gun. Despite, these and numerous other things, I still really enjoy the game and see it with a lot of potential. :)
yang, the person defended Taimou was caught cheating by enigma, remeber him posting a private video named "cheetos" with yang obviously aimbotting on s:76. So, take his word with very microscopic grains of salt
ElepimpReckoner is so good for how new it is i am glad it is getting into etf2l and i hope it gets into esea soon. But i definitely would not have replaced sunshine, my pick would have been metalworks probably.
eu doesnt play metalworks already
if this game wants to succeed as a spectator sport, there needs to be some major gameplay shift to make the game slower because every team fight lasts like 10 seconds and one ult will litterally delete the entire enemy team
a dedicated A/C manager would greatly improve this game
please try atleast pugging at the very least before giving an opinion on an competitive focused game.

Its just really exciting for myself and other former tf2 players because they see the potential and its really exciting,. I might try to run some pugs on the 8th around 7est again, so yall can try. Im still heavily debating switching from tf2 however. Something about tf2 feels comforting. However, overwatch has a lot of exciting prospects.
