The only reason to play tf2center is to play some bball if youre not a part of a group of friends that plays bball together.
Also for pugchamp, I can't keep track of how many times we were 11 players waiting for someone to join, only for the old pug with all the high level players to end, they re-add and up pick almost all of the same players and then we are 9 players waiting for a pug.

I don't complain about someone when hes using shotgun or gunboats even when they do more annoying stuff, the problem is getting someone to actually play with. Is it a common thing now to frown upon shotgun users?

Also, which servers usually this happen? i get my fair share of unfun duels in the FirePowered MGE server mostly. The vatican city ones have less people always but the people seem to be nicer over there.
I play EU MGE servers.
SpaceCadetI guess you need to decide on what reason you are playing MGE. I play MGE to practice and warm-up before scrims and matches. I rarely, if ever, will MGE just for fun and I will simply not respond to things people say in chat. Once you decide your goal, it literally doesn't matter what other people do or say in the MGE arena. Work on the shit you need to work on and get out.
I prefer DM to MGE these days because I feel it gives more raw practice on the league maps but that is just me.
ps - any player bitching about a shotgun in MGE isn't worth playing. Find another arena.
At this hour for example, when I have time the servers usually have around 4-6 players, a lot of them are just friends so leaving for another arena is just not an option
I rarely play MGE/DM but when I do I want to practice some soldier in MGE and whenever I join a server at least one of the following things happens:
So at best I get to kill someone that just takes any form of fun out of the game, and the worst I just sit through MGE servers for almost an hour just to get one game.
If I look for a friend to play MGE with I feel not nice because I don't play MGE very often and I keep denying MGE requests.
I remember when I started playing in 2011 it was common to MGE with shotguns only, many servers even banned gunboats. What the heck gives?

ZestyThere's a shield that the Splendid Screen was definitely based off of in the Pitt Rivers museum in Oxford along with a few other weapons that deffo remind me of stuff ingame on the top floor (I think there's some revolvers that the spy ones are based off of). Don't have any pictures though.

Daggertip: make sure you shoot your rocket really close to your player model when you're on an uneven surface or your ctap will fuck up
yeah this is the worst thing when youre used to ctapping all the time, youll just do lots of damage to yourself and the ground will swallow your rocket
