plot twist of the fucking century
10/10 - would get spooked again
I'm 99.9% sure that it's safe.
You gotta buy it yourself man, or rather, you need to purchase an item in the Mann Co. store. You can kill two birds with one stone if you add funds to your steam wallet then purchase a key or something. That way you get both a premium steam account and a premium version of TF2.
You should set up your steam community page so people can add you.
1) Yes, there are literally hundreds of configs for tf2 including FPS, class, and player configs. A good example of an FPS config would be Chris's maxfps config: http://fakkelbrigade.eu/chris/configs/
2) Everyone (or atleast mostly everyone) on this site plays the 6v6 format, although there is a growing community for 9v9's.
3)Chris's maxfps config is one of the most popular FPS configs out there http://fakkelbrigade.eu/chris/configs/

4) You cannot add anyone on steam unless you have a "premium" steam account. In order to make your account premium, you must purchase a game on steam or purchase an item within a game Valve owns.
5)There are a few pug services on IRC, the most popular one at the moment is #tf2.pug on gamesurge, and there's the older #tf2.pug.na which is oriented towards experienced players.
6) Try looking for "MGE" or DM mod servers, there is also tr_rocketshooting2 to practice airshots.
report zigzter for stealing my fucking name
Are you asking how to bind keys or which keys you should bind your inventory slots to?
I find it's best to bind my inventory from 1-3, the fourth slot to c, and then the fifth and sixth slot to 4 & 5. Place your escape mech or an item which requires a lot of pressing to C (such as phase boots) in the fourth inventory slot. I find this helps my response time while dealing with escape mechs and it helps me not want to kill myself while using phase boots.
Terran scum.
It's a great game, but they haven't done shit to optimize it so my computer bakes like a potato under intense fire fights. The only -downside- I can think of is the combat, It's a huge improvement over PS1's combat which used a "spread cone" type system, but now it feels way too much like battlefield 3's combat where you're constantly sprinting from cover to cover whilst taking potshots at enemies. They've also docked the entire "social aspect" of the game when they eliminated the sanctuary.
The only thing that really fucking pisses me off ATM is the metagame. As of now, anti-air is way too fucking powerful, so you wont see much aircraft, However, what you WILL see are large formations of tanks that obliterate everything in their path. The only counter to this is either a) more tanks or b) heavy assault which pisses me off because all they're creating is massive large scale fuckfests which dont contribute to the capture of bases, but allow enemies to sneak by and essentially back cap their base. If you need an example of this, go play as NC on Indar.
