Localhost TF2 LAN (LHTF2) Update #1
Happy New Year! We’ve got some great news about the event to start 2022 off right.
REGISTRATION IS LIVE
Team passes and spectator passes are now available: https://nerdstreet.com/events/tf2-at-localhost-fullerton-2022-02-12
Team passes - $300/team
Spectator passes - $10 1-day, $15 2-day
In order to purchase a team pass, you will need to create a team and have 6 players rostered. It is fairly straightforward and quick to set up, just have someone register an account and create the team through Nerdstreet’s system (https://nerdstreet.com/dashboard) and then send each player the invite link provided on your team page.
Teams + LFT Spreadsheet
To help everyone get a sense of who’s coming to the event, and to help teams form, we put together a spreadsheet of attendees: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iJ7tKxWe3ZhIGVKKvYUMVKNrwzBQyKZ0Hb2uq-m8t78/edit?usp=sharing
Please reach out to me on Discord (b4nny#0323) so we can keep the list updated. Individuals looking for teams should tell me their name, desired classes, division, and preferred contact method.
You can also find the current list of confirmed fully paid attendees (Teams/Spectators) here: https://nerdstreet.com/events/tf2-at-localhost-fullerton-2022-02-12?section=attendees
Sponsorship: VAXEE
We are happy to welcome our first sponsor of the event, VAXEE! They are a relatively new esports hardware company that consists of many of the original Zowie Gear team, carrying on their legacy of high-end gaming peripherals. The winning team of the tournament will have their choice of 6 VAXEE products: https://www.vaxee.co/en/product.php (Winners will need to provide a shipping address, and phone number in order to receive their prize)
We are in talks with a few more potential sponsors, so stay tuned for more updates.
RGL Conduct Partnership
We will be aligning with RGL’s player conduct policies during the event, so any violations of them during the event may result in RGL penalties, and this also means that any player that is RGL banned at the time of the event would not be allowed to participate, either as a player or spectator.
Next Steps
Going forward, the top things on our agenda are to spread the word far and wide about this event to get as many people signed up as possible, to flesh out the event ruleset and schedule, to iron out production details, to launch a crowdfunding/merch campaign to benefit the prize pool, and to lock down a couple more sponsors. Things are moving fast, but they are coming together nicely and we are on track for a great event so far.
As always, please post if you have any further questions or concerns.

(Reposting from RGL Forums because it is RGL Forums).
For RGL, this site gives a somewhat accurate map of viewers. It doesn't say which one is grand-finals but it should be easy to guess. https://twitchtracker.com/rglgg/statistics
a minor issue is also with the koth rotation which is cool i guess, but most people assumed that one map would be swapped out every season with another map, like villa being swapped with bagel but 5cp. however, why the fuck is the map cup a day before the regular season starts? basically gives no one any time to actually try it out. kind of what bear was saying, you also screw yourself over if those maps are all shit.
just have bagel or older 5cp maps change with villa or host the cup way in advance instead of out of nowhere.
Young_SanityvQuacks gets fucking carried 24/7. He dosent deserve.
ok and?
joshy blaze is 20000% better than you sorry it’s the truth
These guys are destroying the Invite Division in RGL. i know their leader "b4nny" quite well, but i want to know everyone else's opinions.

Faceit is coming back before RGL pugs comes out lmao
It isn't even that they are ignoring 6's, its that they just dont care enough to update it or slow as fuck. More than likely the former because nr6s is still there.
They unbanned the MAL players but they are contemplating stricter rules on invite players through use of a player survey. That part of the article is so vague and leaves the question of whether they will police invite players outside of scrims/matches through pugs or comms. Also where are the sponsors they talk about, because all I see is mannco.store sponsoring invite highlander and nothing else.
Don't let tftv distract you from the fact that rgl is being pretty awful in decision making.
If this gets put in dumpster then tftv says that rgl is good in every way.

"3/4ths of players agree that scrims should be moderated to a lighter extent than matches. We agree as well. While reviewing cases, we consider this context important, which ultimately does play a role in how we deal with reports occurring in a scrim environment. We have opted and are continuing to issue warnings or simply log the case instead of a penalty. It should be noted that this does not mean slurs and excessive toxicity are not moderated. This will be covered below."
In the article you provided, the community had voted to make scrims be moderated lightly contrary to what you have done. Sure they may have voted to make slurs in scrims punished, but the policy was already set to only issue warnings with minor cases. With someone else saying a slur in a pug scrim, it makes no sense that the scrim organizer should be banned. You are not following your own policies that you have set here, so does the RGL community's opinion really not matter?
Also where are the sponsors that were supposed to come out of these rules? Could it be that someone saying an offhand slur in a scrim on their server does not matter at all in the grand scheme of things?
