Last season I had a problem with listening to criticism from players more experienced than me. When air or testify told me to do something or questioned my play I took it as a personal attack. It's a problem I didn't know existed before then and I'm really trying to work on it.

This season was not the same case. It was also the most frustrating team I've ever played with. I developed a habit of getting caught out on a lot of ubers because I still expected the very aggressive pushing style that I had with air and I freely admit that I died way too much the first week matches. However, instead of talking to me about this problem out in the open the rest of the team immediately resorted to backtalk and I had to find out from a friend that everyone was angry. This was what bothered me the most. Despite a commitment to learn as a team there seemed to be a general apathy where people just didn't give a fuck after we lost the first match and from my perspective would rather just blame me instead of evaluating themselves. I actively tried to talk to people like bsc and vortex about what I could do better and wasn't able to get a conversation going. But not once did anyone else ask for help with a problem they were having or talk as a team about issues. Obviously if I was what was holding the team back I apologize.

I was working on the positioning issue during metalworks week and felt like I had a better handle on it by the second match where I matched the other med's ubers despite losing 5-1 (only 5 vaccinators). I don't feel like I was given the opportunity to show the progress I made but I understand the decision of the team.
