ukmmaybe dont assault a police officer if u dont want to get shot

also maybe don't encourage a culture of "us vs the police" in ur community and raise your kids to feel like police are the enemy if you don't want them to assault a police officer and get shot when they grow up

maybe

or blame the cops and pretend black skin absolves you of any responsibility to act like a decent human being i dont know whatever works

The problem is that sometimes it is an "us vs the police" situation. When you're being targeted by law enforcement for nothing more than the color of your skin it's very hard to foster a friendly relationship. That's why black moms have to tell their kids to be careful where they walk. That's why 1/3 of our prison population is black (most for non-violent drug offenses). That's why a kid with mountain dew in his pocket can be chased down and brutally beaten by undercover policemen. That's why 12 year olds get shot for pulling out a BB gun so they can put it down like they were asked.

Nonrecognition is all fine and dandy until you realize that by saying "Oh yeah I noticed he was black but I ignored that" inherently considers race and judgments follow based on that.

Easy question: If somehow you could become black, how much money would it take to get you to do it?

#40 How to train demoman mechanics in TF2 General Discussion
smobo*you don't have to seek out legendary players and challenge them one by one to earn badges and advance to the elite 4, just make sure you're not fighting pubbers

although i heard that if you beat an invite player in mge they're legally obligated to let you have their roster spot.

kirbytetromino5. every point caps like gullywash last
I don't know if you're being serious, but how do you suggest Gully last over the cap time of Badlands last???

Oh yes, my bad! Edited to reflect even more fastness.

#38 Demoman Discussion Video in Videos

Steps to making game "as fast as possible":

1. take out medic, make all hp packs large (ubers are super boring)
2. take out demo; stickies are no fun
3. all soldiers must run gunboats and be able to do fast rollout or else (even on process!)
4. scouts must run baby face blaster for maximum speed
5. every point caps like badlands last

(fast ≠ fun)

#28 Spy vs Engineer War in TF2 General Discussion
GetawhaleKanecoIf the Spy vs Engineer update really is the name of the comp update, it's about the worst possible combination of classes you could have picked to associate with the competitive start of tf2.
Team Fortress 2 is the game that we play. These are two classes from that game. Like it or not.

Yeah I think he's just saying that they picked a class that slows the game down and (imo) makes it less fun. Saying that we have to deal with whatever valve gives us seems a little bit defeatist; we're the consumers and they will react to our feedback.

#3 Dane "Dane" Schofield LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

He's a smart player and a solid demo to have on your squad. Plus, he's actually nice and will not be a big jerk in your mumble. Does need to try harder in UGC though.

#5 net problem in Q/A Help

I get really crappy ping from like 2-5 every day and then it magically goes down at dinnertime. Maybe it's just when you're playing?

#9 The current state of newbie mixes in TF2 General Discussion

Honestly man (and this doesn't really apply to pugs specifically but it's still valid), the one thing this community can do to get new players involved is just not be toxic towards them. The people who actually want to grow Tf2 and get new people playing comp seem like a minority vs the players who talk crap because they have more experience.
