They're a group of nice, talented people and you should definitely check them out. Also Snarken's voice is literally one of the greatest things ever.

I dunno, I'm really not a big fan of how techy and modern Korra has gotten. I really liked the original because it had that globe-trotting adventure feel and focused on developing every character. Plus just the whole spiritual/folklore vibe was really cool too. Seeing some giant cg mech with a laser just doesn't scare me as much as a dude bending the air out of someone's lungs...
Mr_Owlapparently canadian christmas is like 8 days early wtf
But if jesus was born on the 25th how can christmas come early?
They're really cool and want to be good. If you're a driven young medic who likes to work hard, this team is for you.
TwistedtetrominoAre we allowed to use the f-word in forum posts now?It used to be banned?
I just never saw anyone use it before that I can remember.

Idk if I would agree with mid-high...
Seems like they've taken the skill out of the weapons to appeal to new players who otherwise couldn't get kills. When I walk out of spawn and a tide-turner demoknight charges blindly around the corner and kills me multiple times, how could I possibly be having fun?
Usually when you die in an fps it's fair, you know that you got beaten by a player with more skill than you or you made a mistake. In pub TF2 that's almost never the case; the only mistake you made was clicking that quick-play button.
MamboulayIt was actually one of the things we were "criticized" for; that higher-level players should be the ones taking decisions as they have a better understanding of the game.
I think you have to understand your audience here. When you have 222 active teams in Steel+Iron vs. 49 in Gold+Plat it seems like you would want to focus on the majority of players and their experiences. Since the community has been all up in arms about bringing in new people, why wouldn't you want to see what those lower level players (your base) think about the league?
I think as a whole the elitist attitude of TF2 players is what's hurting our recruitment, and prioritizing the upper level's experience may in fact come at the expense of the bottom's. I'm not saying that "higher-level understanding" can't be helpful, but I doubt the people calling for a Platinum Council to make decisions were lower-level players.
brooky12lvl4"Please login to continue..."
does this mean it sorts by div/experience?
because if not i'd really like to vote :(
Not publicly
Anyone can vote. But the admins may weigh votes based on experience/division
I'd like to know how these weightings are going to be done. If someone has less experience but has a generally negative outlook on the league, are you going to tell them that they are wrong? Similarly, someone with a lot of exp may just be a hardcore comp player who would participate no matter the conditions. That'd be like weighting a census based on age.
