Hi so I don't really have the schedule to practice or associate with a team regularly these days, which is why I don't actually play real competitive.
Since tf2center is really cancerous and nobody plays on stadium, I almost exclusively play casual atm, where I usually join the losing team and try to win the game/reach 100 points/some other goal I set myself and it's fun, but sometimes I feel like playing some less pubby tf2 so I was thinking about actually playing some MM.
I've only played MM in the beta on my account and haven't gotten the pass yet, so before I spend money on this, I'd like to know what I'm getting.
The thing is, I usually play tf2 casually while watching videos or whatever these days. I know MM is retarded at low ranks and I'm confident I'll be able to solo win most games on CaneCola scout on that level, but I expect to rank up pretty fast and I'd like to know if it actually gets semi-serious quickly?
For example, I wouldn't play a lobby like this, without paying attention for a couple seconds sometimes and with sound off, because I don't wanna ruin the game for ppl who are actually looking for teamwork.
But I'm not really sure if this is something that even happens in MM and if real team behavior is expected except for like the top 1% MMR.
If everyone is just solo queuing in MM these days and it's just a 6v6 pub, and I can play with sound off without ruining anyone's day, I'll probably give it a go.
