Did I even care if I got the 10 ref or not? No.
Why did I make this post then? Because if all I had to make a (from someone else's view) useless post on TFTV to get the 10 refined, I definitely would have, which I did. And it didn't work out. Which like I mentioned already, is fine.
Average typing speed is around 40 wpm. Your post contains 73 words, that's around 1.82 seconds. But you also had to click the quote button and scroll to the bottom of the page and submit the post, so we can assume around 3 seconds. Let's assume someone gave you the person's steam account. You would've had to open steam, add the person and periodically check if he had accepted you. Let's add a minute for that. Then, you would've had to introcude yourself and then write him at the very least the same message you posted here, (3 seconds), waited for him to reply and, assuming he believes you immediately and for some reason decides to pay you, you would've had to wait for him to send you a trade request, accept it, wait for him to find 10 ref in his backpack, add them to the trade and accept. By the time the trade is done, at least another minute would've passed. Then, let's assume you would've immediately found someone to buy your ref for money. You would've had to go through the same procedure with him (2 minutes and 3 seconds), but then you would've also had to give him your payment details and wait for him to complete the payment (another minute at least). This brings us to a total of 5 minutes and 9 seconds in an unrealistic best case scenario for you to acquire the money. You would've acquired 60 cents. That's 7$ per hour.
You price your time at less than minimum wage. Also, you could've jerked off in the same time instead.
