I learned this in 2nd grade so get on my public school level.

There was a little patch today and I'm blaming that because I have the same issues. Hopefully they do a patch fix tomorrow. It's terrible.
Hey man, add me if you haven't been able to hook up with anyone yet. I enjoy talking TF2 from the medic POV.
I struck again!
I could help too if you still need it yo
Yes I did. It's definitely the hardware in this tiny area. Looks like I'll be dissecting a headset tomorrow..
I have been using these Carcharias for a good number of months now with absolutely no issue ever. But today I put them on when I got home from work and the mic is poop. I think I have narrowed down the problem to being related to the mic switch on the actual headset cord, but I'm not sure. I just have this picture in my head that something is loose inside there or something, however I have no proof of that.
Things I've tried:
-Restarting computer
-Unplugging and plugging headset
-Smacking headset
If any of you have had problems with mic switches on headsets before- is there a reliable way to stabilize those kinds of problems?
Only time I've seen miwo complain is WHEN PEOPLE ARE SHIT AT TF2
miwo is a smart player and I love his medic
SpyromancerkaceUse the same script, had the same problem:I'm a fan of Occam brand razors so I'm going to try this today.
alias +crouchjump "+jump;+duck;spec_mode"
alias -crouchjump "-jump;-duck"
This fixes it.
EDIT: just crashed using this trying to watch an stv :v
It doesn't have anything to do with the command he gave. TF2 is just shitty since the last update and crashes constantly when watching .dem files or just any damn time it feels like it.
I ran into the same issue when I began using that script. My solution has been to simply make a script that I exec only whenever I am spectating games. So I made a spec.cfg and bound it to a key; and also bound a key to exec autoexec as well so that I can toggle between them quickly. Here are the contents of my spec.cfg. Add or subtract whatever you will:
