alright i'm from a small town (to give you a picture, there is less than 1000 enrolled in the only highschool in town) and when suicide happens it turns into an event. the last suicide I remember at the high school was about 3 or 4(?) years ago. I was in an elementary school in town when it happened, and when the news got about, most of us (I think grade 5 and up, and theres 5 elementary schools here) got notes telling our parents to talk to us frequently to make srue we aren't doing fucked up stuff. parents obviously took that into consideration and it did help although I was never suicidal.

My friend was however and I have talked her out of binge drinking, taking too many pills, and I talked her out of cutting like last week. To do that, all I did was use common sense. I was kind of aggressive with her but that's what you have to do sometimes, especially in situations like yours. for some reason it inclines them more to tell you what their problem is. I said things like "you're a freshman with potential and you are wasting your time getting wasted on weekdays" or like "i dont understand how you're ungrateful enough to cut when you have a perfectly fine life" stuff like that. it took time but now she doesn't cut, take pills or binge drink anymore. maybe it will help your guy but he seems to be a lot more deep in the whole than my friend was.

i used to play tf2 on a dell laptop that was windows xp. I didn't have a desk before so I played on the ground with a mouse that came with the computer back when we bought it. this was like 2 years ago and the comp was old af. somehow I gathered enough money to get a desk and a good running desktop and a good mouse, mousepad, keyboard, etc
