It's pretty fucked up to say that winning open isn't a major achievement. This is season 15 of ESEA. TF2s first season was season 2. For the first couple seasons ESEA didn't even have separate divisions. Only like 12 teams have ever won open, and when you consider how many teams have competed for that title I'd say that's quite an accomplishment. Is it as impressive as invite or one of the euro LANs? Of course not, but it's still an accomplishment to be proud of.

JohnMilterNeither of my teammates seem to understand that trasher thinks esea dropped the ball by not moving his own team to main.
I'd be lying if I said that we werent asking to be moved up. We scrim main teams all the time and it's always a good game. I'm also talking about teams like AG and Dream Boat tho. Those teams would be highly competitive in main.

serv0thrasher you don't have the slightest idea of what you are talking about, not a single open moveup team has died. One of the open move ups (street hoops) are currently 8-1 and are a top 4 team. The only open moveup not doing well is animus. The teams placed in main are very good and every game has been competitive. The team that died didn't die because they were "not good enough" for main, it died because they didn't enjoy playing with each other.
Fair enough. I stand corrected.

There's a guy on tf2outpost who makes full color decal melee signs. I'm sure he'd do a medal too. I've used him a few times, only costs like 2 scrap in addition to the sign (or medal) and the decal tool.

AloSecdingoi really like complaining when someone is better than meits funny because you were on a main team at the start of the season and now you're in open lol
I kinda blame ESEA for that. They really didnt do the best job when they added main. Normally you have to follow a certain procedure to move teams up. When it was only 3 divisions the rules were pretty strict, but with the creation of a brand new (higher level) division they really shoulda hand picked the teams for the first season. They grabbed a bunch of open teams who didnt do so well and put them 1 step below invite. These teams are dying and main is suffering because of it. Hopefully that won't be the case next season, but ESEA really dropped the ball here.
