Holy shit I can't believe this thread is still going on.

I got minus fragged a bit for my views on this earlier, and after I learned that he had been to LAN recently it changed my opinion on the matter, but if there is still some raging debate about the situation going on here is an easy way to end this.

Someone stream demo reviews of insom from this season with wireframes on. As conductor pointed out earlier that if you watch a demo with the mindset that he hacks you are gonna make yourself see "fishy" things. If anyone decides to do this unless you see him perfectly tracking someone through a wall then lets just drop this. He did something stupid, he's paying for it. We shouldn't crucify him and keep him from enjoying this community if he's legit. Someone watch the demos and either clear his name or permaban him based on the results. Either way lets just end this.

a few things...

-I was unaware insom went to a lan. That helps his credibility a lot.

-As far as watching a demo with wireframes with the mindset hes hacking goes, thats absolutely true. Thats one of the reasons I didnt bother watching any demos (that and I was feeling very lazy).

-I wasnt straight up accusing him of cheating. I was saying that we should consider all possibilities and look into it a little more before sweeping it under the rug. Again, this was before I was aware he had been to a lan. Had I been aware of that I wouldnt have even bothered posting.

-Im not bitter. Insom is a damn good scout and knowing that hes proven himself on lan really changes my opinion about the matter. Id like to sincerely apologize to you Insom if anything I said was out of line.

Well that's your opinion, however that's not what I was getting at. I truly like all the AG guys, and any time we play them it's a fun (usually close) game. Yes, they beat us 5-4 this season but they also beat 7 other teams who may also be curious about what's up with insom. Apparently his VAC ban wasn't for TF2, but based on the reactions in both threads a lot of people seemed to think that prior to this debacle that he maybe had been cheating. I personally feel that if someone has the desire to cheat at one game, they may do the same for another. Just because he got VACd for another game doesn't mean he isn't/wasn't cheating in TF2 and just wasn't caught. It also doesn't mean that he's not 100% legit.

Even if I was to watch an STV and found proof he was walling in our match and they overturned it, it really changes nothing in the long run. It would change a pretty meaningless stat and we would still have to play each other again in the playoffs and the better team would win. I'm not looking for handouts, or shortcuts. I want to earn wins not complain to get them after a loss. That's not how I am, it never has been. I was really just asking an honest question to get the thread back on topic.

Lol, the client catching someone. Fog that's adorable. I was going to watch some match STVs to look for suspicious things but I've been lazy so I haven't bothered. I don't want to see AG get fucked over, they are good guys. I was just curious.

Good point. Back on topic with a serious question... Will ESEA be taking action against AG by overturning matches if it turns out that insom did in fact hack?

I care. They are the only team who beat us (5-4) so far this season. If the dude was wall hacking id certainly like to know. I remember in the season 13 grand finals watching the cast, and the camera was on insom as he tracked a medic through a wall for a headshot. The chat mentioned it, the casters didnt say a damn thing.
