The newer goliathus pads are pretty thin actually. The older ones are nice and thick.
Thicker pads are nice, especially for LANs. A lot of the time the tables at LANs seem to have imperfections like bumps or chips in them and a thin pad will be a problem. A nice thick pad helps in those situations.
I wish tekken was on steam. It's the only reason I own a ps3

KillingthrasherI feel like I should weigh in on a lot of the thoughts about killing. In this situation I don't really see him doing anything wrong. Killing gets a ton of messages every day and I can understand how that can get annoying, however as others have said, it's a paid job, and while he does a lot for this community his people skills are horrible. 95% of the time I've had to message killing for help, even if its a last minute emergency, I get told to "submit a ticket", usually with a lot of attitude behind it. One time a few seasons ago he told me he'd only help me if I played, and beat him in a 1v1 in Starcraft... Not professional at all. On the other side of the admin coin, kalkin always takes care of problems almost immediately when it's in his power to do so.
For years killing was a total prick to have to deal with. While he has matured since then I think a lot of us still remember how bad things used to be. Like I said, in this situation he hasn't done anything wrong, so maybe we should cut him some slack.
I rarely call bullshit or way in on people talking about me but that entire thing was filled with it.
