New Mic/Headset Advice

so i went ahead and picked up the AD700s today. Ive been using them all day and I can honestly say that I dont see (or hear, technically) what all the fuss is about. Now im no audiophile but I do love music. I have been listening to all kinds of different genres on these today, as well as movies, and obviously gaming. While I do notice a subtle difference, its just that... subtle. I think im gonna return these and go back to my old headset =/
just my 2 cents for anyone considering getting a pair.

Sorry for bumping an older thread, but I wanted to ask a headset question and I hate making new threads for shit like that.
So I've been using a razer carcharias headset for 2-3 years and I actually really like it, however I've been hearing really good things about the AD700s. I know the carcharias isn't an audiophile set of cans but they do sound nice to me. Has anyone used both the carcharias and the AD700s? Is it worth upgrading? I love music and if there is a significant improvement for both music and games I may go for it.

Well I don't know how you euro roamers do it, but as a roamer here in NA I tend to bust out the off classing plays when the time is right. I would say you could have spaces for things such as:
- spy play
- sniper play
- hiding in the gayest spot imaginable
- top frag
